  1. Get on the waitlist for your desired tour when you board the ship. Someone will cancel. We waitlisted an excursion (can’t remember the exact one) this past June, and ended up clearing the waitlist.
  2. We went on the PG for the first time in June- I was horribly seasick the first few days and was shocked how much the ship was rocking and rolling. I used a scopolamine patch and was fine after a few days- were on a 14 day cruise and got used to it. Sorry your experience was sub optimal- we had a great time. Agree about the linens though. We also had problems with our A/C that were not solved to our satisfaction.
  3. I don’t know- don’t follow specific groups for this ship. Just going off what the people at guest services and the sports square workers told me 🤷🏻‍♀️
  4. Just a heads up the Bolt coaster has been down the entire cruise, and apparently has been broken for a few months. First world problems. On the ship now, and they were still charging for reservations (but refunding you 2 hours before your reservation).
  5. Hi there- just reading through these threads (we did this cruise in June). My son has pretty bad myopia, and I ordered him a prescription mask online - this has made all the difference in the world for him snorkeling. I didn’t even know you could order prescription masks/goggles! It may be an option so your wife can enjoy snorkeling!
  6. Pool bar in June. We didn’t do a lot of ship excursions and had no problem getting on a tender whenever we wanted. There was only 265 people on our sailing, but the tenders are very large and they have it down to a science. We did have to sign up for a tender time at the private motu, but chose to ride the zodiac instead (from the marina).
  7. That’s unfortunate that PG will not confirm your itinerary. They should know it by now- one would think. Regarding the Marquesas- we booked the scenic drive to Hanavave in Fatu Hiva and was underwhelmed. The excursion was supposed to be 3:30 hours and we were only on the excursion 2 hours. Other trucks on the excursion had a stop for refreshments and commentary, but we did not.We actually complained onboard and the staff looked at us like we were crazy. I won’t go into it, but this was a disappointing part of the cruise (dealing with flippant front desk staff-we also had problems in our room with our A/C not functioning and they were quite rude and dismissive). The first two islands in the Marquesas we did on our own. The infrastructure is quite nonexistent on these islands and there isn’t much to do on your own. We saw a craft market and local show in Tahuata. Tendering was crazy here- never seen anything like it. Very big swell and having to leap onto tender. Many frail and elderly with walkers and canes doing this, which was scary. Hiva Oa we went to museum and craft market. If you dive, I would recommend doing it in these ports, because you won’t be missing much on land. Uo Poa was great in that we did our own hike to the waterfall and did not pay to do so on an excursion. It was beautiful and a pretty easy hike. Nuka Hiva we saw the cathedral, tiki, and beach. Did not do excursion here. Hope that helps! Oh, I did send out some laundry and was pleased with the service FYI. It isn’t cheap lol
  8. Trying again… dive schedule
  9. Then I’d assume it is the same modified itinerary we had
  10. Which itinerary are you doing again?
  11. Dive schedule. If it doesn’t upload, then I’ll just have to wait until I’m back home. Off the ship and had a fantastic time!
  12. Yes, this is the exact itinerary we just did, and IMO, a better one than the original. I feel there was too much time spent in the Marquesas.
