  1. In an earlier thread "deck plan" maps came up. My question is, does Carnival provide a "handi" map of the deck plans so you can see where everything is? Hard copy, not in the app.
  2. The deck plans on Carnival.com are too small, I cant really see the restrooms. I'm sure it will be fine.
  3. moved from an inside room to a cove balcony on the Jubilee and got NO deal. its expensive
  4. I guess there are plenty of them located throughout the ship, or just in dining areas?
  5. So you take a hunk of fresh ginger on the ship, slice and eat !!!???
  6. So, what's your go-to seasick prevention? Bonine, Dramamine, Ear Patch, Wrist band? I've been seasick snapper fishing and a little bit on a RCL cruise in the 1990's.
  7. You all are great, thank you so much for taking the time to give me this info. I will be sure and look at my receipts. I don't mine tipping, but it can get out of control.
  8. I did a search and just want to be clear. On the Jubilee, I took the "pre-paid" tip feature. Am I done with tipping mow?
  9. I have one reserved, $423 total fee. Just don't know. Might save the money a just hoof it and take some Tylenol😆
  10. My girlfriend sometimes wakes up and has a snack to help her get back to sleep. Anyone carry-on some peanut butter and crackers or the like?
  11. Scooter riders, a question. I'm having second thoughts about renting my scooter. I am not handicap to where I can't walk, just very long distances get to me. I believe I can get around the ship okay, but I'm worried about the walks to and from the ship while visiting port areas. I would say I'm good for a half mile. Just need places to sit for a few minutes. Thinking the scooter will be more trouble than it's worth in my case. Suggestions please.
  12. Thanks for all the great info. I remember the Customs Form on my last cruise. Sounds much easier now. I don't need to bring back anything, unless there is a Rolex for a great price in one of the Ports. I remember in Nassau, there were some deals, Breitling's too.
  13. Another debarkation question: Tell me about "Customs". What's involved with "clearing" Customs when you're getting off the ship to head home?
  14. If you put your bags outside your room for "them" to get. Are the bags hard to find when you get off the ship? What would you say the delay is. an hour? We are on the Jubilee out of Galveston.
  15. Thank you , Galveston, Texas. The actual name of the facility is Port Parking.
  16. I'm parking at Port Parking. Its covered but is it flood proof? During Beryl, I heard there was some flooding near the piers.
  17. Traveling with another couple. can we get the same boarding time? Do we have to do check in at the same time? Can one Check in for the other?
  18. I'm having second thoughts about renting a scooter. I think I'll be okay while on the ship. It's the walk to the ports from the ships which has me worried. It is a far walk and further when you get to the port area (Costa mays, etc). My issue is a bad back which keeps me from walking long distances. So, how much trouble is it getting one of those Pedi-cabs when I get off the ship to take me to town? Are there a bunch of them? Are they scooped up fast? Can you find one when its time to get back on the ship? I could save about $400 cancelling my scooter reservation.
  19. Thanks kelkel2 I may have more Jubilee questions for ya.
  20. If you want to go hear for a coffee and beignets breakfast, do you need a reservation or just show up?
  21. Decided to create our own excursions
  22. Guess no one commenting have been on the Jubilee
  23. Which are worth it? The ones prices under $100 each.
