OK everyone the time is here. We leave day after tomorrow. Looks like we are going to be VERY LUCKY with no rain till some scattered showers while at sea. Maybe a morning shower when we dock back in Galveston on the 21st. Prayers for all who are being affected by Francine now. I've done about all, the homework I can and THANKS to all on Cruise Critic who answered my MANY questions. I will give a recap and review of my week on The Jubilee when I'm home and rested.

Do you take your passports and Driver's license to the beach when you go on excursions? I've heard make copies to take on shore.

distilled water is still $2 in Frisco Texas. I wont complain about $6 as I dont have to carry it on myself.

Most of my discretionary funds go to hunting trips for vacations. I'm an old, retired guy, been on many cruises in my younger years and enjoyed them very much. Now, I just don't like crowds, lines, drunk people, loud people, yada, yada. I'm doing this for my girlfriend who deserves it for putting up with me.😉

No Doubt the prices will continue to rise and rise. Now the Ports are charging the cruise lines a "cover Charge" to enter their boundaries. Pretty sure this will be my last cruise.

Most garages don't guarantee no flooding either. Better check with your insurance if you're covered in a flooded area.

been doing it for 40 years. I use distilled water at home only use tap water for a few nights at a time. I did order a gallon to be delivered to my stateroom though😂

1. Why cant you guys use tap water for a week in your CPAP's? I do it all the time when traveling. 2. Carnival is $30 BILLION with a B in debt. No guessing why they nickel and dime us for everything.

Getting close now. Closely monitoring the Gulf for storms. Looks like one this week and maybe one the following week. Fingers crossed we slip in somewhere. Checked in last night (early this morning) and got 11:00am check in. Staying in Texas City the night before, so a 30–45-minute drive to the parking garage, Been watching tons of YouTube videos about The Jubilee and where to go to dodge the crowds. Should be quite the adventure. Stay tuned😁

Do y'all think its better to go to your parking lot and take everything to the terminal on the shuttle, OR, drop it all off at the ship then go to park? My first time sailing out of Galveston.

I don't understand why anyone would want to buy liquor and bring it back to the USA. I think it wouldn't be worth the hassle. You can find anything here already.
