Oh, come on NCL!
At least roll out a "platinum menu" or something.
Can you still use the voucher in the Brazilian Steakhouse?

Just to ease my mind, if I book a SDP for Breakaway in january 2016, I don3need to care about the a la carte prices? I can choose one entree and a couple of apps/sides and a dessert?
Am thinking about Cagneys and La Cucuna.
Many thanks rfrom Sweden

I thought the limit was $15/drink in the package? At least it was earlier this month.

Am concidering the jan 17 cruise. But would need to fly home on jan 30. Would really like to know if/when any changes will occur.

Will there be a robot bar?

Hello all,
I'm going on the Splendour from Dubai in January, I've been looking on pictures and deck plans and such, but haven't really found what I am looking for.
Is there an outdoor section of windjammer or a pool grill or so on board?
I'm going on the Quantum in two weeks and look forward to the outside dining.:)

Just cancelled my November Epic cruise and booked a Royal Caribbean cruise out of Dubai instead. Was on Epic in jan this year. Really enjoyed it. But, I want to know what I get and what I pay for. So, no more NCL, at least for a while. I have been platinum fir quite a whike and was also planning a panama canal trip. Now, back to Royal and X.
Thank you NCL, you are the reason i started to love cruising. Lots of great memories.

What kind of sparkling water is availabke on the Ultimate Package?
Also, I assume you can, but just to be sure, can you order bottled water and a glass of wine at the same time at dinner?
Thanks.

No lobster in The Grande...

I have heard that the unlimited drink pkg is not available on Australia cruises. My question is this - we are thinking of the South Pacific cruise in 2017 leaving Sydney and arriving in Los Angeles. Is a pkg available for the non Australia part of the cruise? This cruise sails every year so I figured someone out there had experience with this. Thanks in advance.
I wonder the same thing.

Got my e-docs for my may Quantum cruise today. It seems that Devinly Decadence actually will be converted to Solarium Bistro by then. Anyone knows anything about that, at all?
-
I have reservations for four nights in Devinly on the Dubai - Singapore on the Quantum. Will they honour my confirmed, complimentary reservations?
Also, find it interesting that Royal are giving $100 to previous Quantum guests for the "fiasco". Now it seems they are back on square one.

Hi there,
We continue to listen to guest feedback, and as a result, all upgrades (from Classic to Premium) will be $10.
Great, thanks for listening and for and making planning a lot easier and less stressful.
-
Okay, are WE not over this already? Either upgrade the package before 20 April 2015 or pay the new fees if you want to upgrade.
Not everyone lives in America. In Scandinavia it is not possible to upgrade before boarding.

Somalia is really far away from where Quantum of the Seas will be sailing.

What will the legs of the Global Odyssey be? Would love to book from Dubai.

We tried to book a drink package for our b2b cruises on Mariner next month but the only ones available where the water and wine package.I rang Royal and was told only limited packages where available on line for some cruises but that we would be able to book onboard.
Thank you and everyone else for your answers.
Was in contact with Royal (norway) today, they told me that no alcohol was sold before boarding the ship while cruising out of Dubai.
Anyone who can confirm?
Thanks.

Strange too that I wanted to see the beverage packages available for the Dubai to Singapore and all they offered was the water and drink refill...no alcohol. ? Ie selection at all.?
I'm on the same cruise and have the same "problem". I e-mailed the norwegian Royal office and was told that it is because of alcohol laws.
Can anyone confirm?
Thanks.

Hello, I'm booked on the Quantum in late may on the repo from Dubai to Singapore. I was thinking about booking the ultimate beverage package online tonight. But the only available packages on the Cruise Planner site are the evian Bottled Water Package and the Royal Replenish Package.
I am almost certain I've seen the alcoholic packages available some months ago when I last checked.
So, can anyone help me? Is it just temporary gone from the web site or is it removed from the cruise? With so many days at sea and so hot temperatures I would like the Ultimate one...
Thank you

Just back home in Sweden after a back to back on X Eclipse and Epic.
What I liked about Epic: The food. Both buffet, mdr and specialtys are, in my opinion, better than on X.
Bar drinks were great, but in cheap cheap plastic cups. Come on! If I pay $10 a drink, at least give me a "real" plastic glass.
What I didn't like:
The brown color of Epic. So dark. Barely no sea views what so ever. Public restrooms were not half as clean as on X, where there more or less always is a person keeping it clean. Constant announces about bingo and art auctions and such. Even the Captain promoted casino, spa and charge restaurants in his daily speach.
I'll be back on NCL. But not on the Epic. No cruise or ship feel.
Loved Pearl/Jewel/Gem.

This was the first cruise which not departed from Southampton in quite some time. Might have been "leftovers" from those. Just like their might be Victoria Bitter and Kangaroo just efter oz season.
-
Baltic sea and Norwegian fjords. Alaska. Probably Asia.

Hello everyone,
I will be on the EPIC early January 2015 (first as Platinum), as the second leg of a b2b with Celebrity Eclipse.
I would love to, and will, enjoy lots of great food and drinks. Even purchased the UBP. But, I want to minimize the weight gain. A few pounds doesn't matter. But don't want to come home only to replace my wardrobe...
So, my question is. What kind of gym classes are there on the EPIC? Are there daily classes you sign up for day one? In the mornings? Afternoons? Price?
Any info is welcome!
Thank you.

I would not find this that impressive. This is an establishment they have at all the tourist traps. So now on a cruise ship? They make and keep their margaritas in those frozen mix containers and just pour them out like soda. Its about the name, not the quality of the drink since they are made pre-packaged and pre-mixed.
I just prefer to leave all the touristy and name brands on land when I cruise. I know Royal started it with Johnny Rockets and Starbucks. Nothing wrong with it but adding Margaritaville on a cruise ship is probably the least creative thing you can do. But I suppose when you are eating your Carlos cupcake you can drink your pre-made margarita :) What next? McDonalds and Burgerking? I like when cruise ships can be creative and create their own brands and lounge experience. But to each their own. Its a name brand and thats about it. But you can go anywhere to experience it. So its not that welcoming to me IMHO.
Blue Man coming to Escape? Is that just a crazy rumor? That would be stupid IMHO after Blue Man was performing almost 5 years on NCL's biggest ship. Can we get a little more creative?
Totally agree with you. Why not try to develop O'Sheeans to something really spectacular instead? Think about it. Maybe have franchises of O'Sheeans on shore, instead of the opposite. Be unique , be creative.
What's next step? A Hilton Hotel on Great Stirrup Cay?
A La Carte Restaurants....

I have no information about this. But I do hope it is true. I much prefer a set price.
