We have always cruised Carnival but booked a Princess South American cruise on Aloha deck. How does Princess cabins compare to Carnival? I've always heard Carnival cabins more square footage? Does anyone have photos? Thanks all!

Thanks all! I'm excited! That said I'll continue to book Carnival because of the price - I could go on 5 Carnival cruises for the price of this one cruise on Princess :). It will be nice to try something different. I will miss my free laundry though :).

Does Princess ever sell discounted gift cards?

We have done several 2 week cruises on Carnival and definitely an older crowd. Another question......Does Princess ever sell discounted gift cards?

Another question......Carnival has Early Saver where if there are any price drops you will get either money taken off balance or OBC if paid in full. Does Princess do that?

I'm excited to try Princess and I too have heard Carnival has the bigger cabins. What about the Sanctuary? I guess that is like the Serenity deck on Carnival but more upscale and you have to reserve and pay? Is that correct?

We have mainly cruised Carnival and just booked a South American cruise on Princess in 2020. We love Carnival but they don't go to SA. For those who have cruised both, what is different? Any tips ?

I have taken 27 Carnival cruises and never experienced the "frat" party atmosphere! However, I'm sure it's very difference from Disney but Carnival is a less expensive cruise. But love Carnival!

I have read Trip Advisor and CC and still unsure. We don't want to spend over $300 a night for a hotel and hotels in January in FLL are pricey. All the ones I mentioned are in the top 40 on Trip Advisor. All have issues as does others.

I am look looking at possibly one of these hotels: Snooze Hotel, Ocean Manor or Fortuna. Any comments. I've read reviews but would like your comments please. Thanks!

For those of you who have gotten these offers, do you travel with others? We have just completed our 27th Carnival cruise and have never gotten an upsell call or email?

We have never been to Amber Cove. Is it similar to Half Moon Cay or do you take tours, etc? Whatever help you can give I would appreciate!
