Pinnacle Lounge is my favorite place on Sky. It’s usually quiet because with barely anyone there during the day time. Same sushi menu like on other NCL ships. These photos were taken from my previous cruise on Sky in March. No dining table. So you either sit at the sushi bar or sit in the lounge area. It’s a little uncomfortable to eat from the lounge chair. Sushi menu Poke bowl Sashimi Assorted sushi rolls. Although each piece looks small in size, the rice will fill you up very quickly.

I don't think it's a bad idea that NCL throttles the speed. 2Mbps is fast enough for most users as long as the quality is good. There's definitely a bandwidth limit for the whole ship. If 4,000 passengers are trying to connect to internet at the same time, without throttling some passengers could get around ang hog all bandwidth for themselves.

With this port-intensive itinerary, you’ll need to pace yourself carefully. I have full-day excursion on every port - this cruise feels more like an expedition rather than a vacation. We had one sea in the middle of the cruise and it was greatly appreciated to have a break.

This’s amazing itinerary. NCL doesn’t offer this very often. Leaving from DR instead of Miami means you can skips a few sea days so you can visit more islands in one cruise.

When you get to the island, you’ll be greeted by the local dancers. Water station is in the white tent. Lot of beach chairs and umbrellas. Free to use. The area to the left is where you could do snorkeling. Plenty of fish near the cliff. Don’t forget to bring goggles or snorkeling gears. It’s a very nice beach day. And you don’t have to pay for anything, unless you want to buy souvenirs or coconuts.

You need to tender to the island. It’s a short ride - less than 10 minutes. In the photo below, you can see the tender pier and the ship in the background.

I’m on Sky. Catalina is a nice beach excursion. Beach chair and umbrella are free to use. You get a lunch box from Bliss lounge and can get cold water from the water station on the beach. Clean restroom. You can snorkel near the rock - plenty of fish. It’s a nice beach day and you don’t need to pay anything for this excursion.

Got my clothes back after talking to the guest service. No explanation why it took so long. I suspect that they already finished the laundry but there’s no crew available to take the basket to guest room. The new bag is big. I’ve 10-day worth of laundry and I still have some room left in the bag.

I try to avoid making complaint to the guest service since this cruise I already made a couple of them already. I don’t want to end up on NCL black book. But anyway I’m taking your advice and talk to the guest service. Housing supervisor was called and my clothes are now delivered to my room.

Haven’t seen my cabin steward today yet. With once a day service it’s very hard to catch the cabin steward.

It has been 3 days and I still haven’t received my laundry back yet. Perhaps there’re so many platinum and above on this cruise.

I bought Dutch egg biscuits or eierkoeken from Bonaire. It’s a fluffy lightly-sweet cake. I really love them. Taste better than the pancakes on board.

Fish curry last night was excellent. Baked Brie is my favorite dish so far on this cruise. It’s served hot. This dish is amazing you need to order if it’s on the menu. French toast goes very well with banana compote. My usual breakfast plate. I cruised with NCL often enough to know that I need to bring my own coffee.

I’m not sure if they have the next day option for the laundry special - you may have to send them by piece at regular price. During my past cruises, I usually have my clothes back by the next day. Although it’s not guaranteed, giving extra cash tips and let your cabin steward know, your clothes may be returned by the next evening.
