Thanks for the fantastic review....we've been to all those islands and am impressed at how beautiful Cozumel is...we caught a taxi down to one of the beaches and it was pretty grotty with seaweed...would definitely go back now after reading your review....loved the Caymen Islands as well....beautiful photos. Thanks again for sharing.

have cruised in October a number of times to the South Pacific and the weather has always been beautiful and the seas are normally very good....sometimes on the way home from Noumea the seas can get a little choppy but tends to only last a night and maybe part of the next day..we've never had any real issues cruising at this time of year.

An excellent review Stacey, thanks so much. We did this cruise last June on the Magic as well and loved it so much we are going on the inaugural Breeze cruise.

The photos are sensational as well.....thanks again for taking me back to one of the most wonderful cruises we have done.....

Jerry thank you again for such a wonderful review and the best photos I've seen on any review.
We're heading off in 4 days to Madrid then onto Barcelona for catch the 12/6 cruise and your review and photos have made it even more excitable, if that's at all possible.
Thankyou again for your time in doing such a great review.

FANTASTIC, WOW WOW WOW!!:):) The best review I've ever read and the only one that I've stayed with the whole time and got up the next morning to check what else you have added.
Thought it looked like the Pantheon, my daughter and I ate at one of the resturants directly opposite the Pantheon, it's a wonderful area.
Your review has added to the excitement of our forthcoming cruise, keep up the wonderful work you're doing with this review.
Thanks again.

Loved the Trevi Fountain, the Coluseum....just loved it all when I was there 3 years ago with DD and now can't wait to take DH for the first time..........your photos have just heightened my enthusiusm:):).
We got told with the tossing of the coin that to return to Rome you needed to throw it over a certain shoulder (can't remember which shoulder!!) ....not sure how true, but we and now I return for a second time, this time with my DH.

Love the look of Castlemola, wonder how hard it would be to get to without a tour. Am so enjoying your review and photos. Looking forward to the next batch. Thanks.

Wow, loving the photos and review. Can't wait for the next lot.....I've never been so interested in reading a review and looking at ALL the photos. Thanks so much for taking the time and all the effort to post.
Have to laugh, love the Beer tower in the Red Frog....so I can assume that these are readily available.
We did these in Penang in 2006, never heard of them until then, and they were great when there's a few of you drinking it.....doesn't last very long....even with just 4!!!:):):)

I bought it last March for our Asia cruise, weighed a tonne. What a waste, bought it, never used it, threw it!!!! (the weight of it wasn't worth bringing home, so threw it out in Singapore)

Does anybody know the restrictions on what you can and cannot bring back from shopping in Vila, Noumea and Lifou.
We went to Portside Saturday 11 Nov and the Star was arriving home. People were saying they had wood items and jewellery taken while others who had the same wood items apparently got to keep theirs.
We would like to have some idea as we dont want to buy heaps and have it all confiscated on return.
Thanks
We had a woven mat taken as there were very little spiders in it. When the Customs lady tapped the mat on the table they all fell out. Wow, we were really shocked! We had necklaces and a windchime taken as they were made with a very nasty seed and another larger seed on them (these weren't in the display cabinet at the tour desk) and we nearly lost a woven bag but she told us to get going before she had to take it!!
In Noumea you can buy sand pictures behind frames. Don't. These are also banned from entering Aust. Don't buy the leafy photo albums either. everyone we knew who bought one had it taken off them. They cost $10 so not very happy!
We bought a bow and arrow and a wooden Lifou ornament and these got thru Customs fine. You just need to be careful when buying them that they don't have little holes in them (hubbys a builder so knew what to look for).
The only shell you can't bring in is the 'snail shell'. We bought back some of the most beautiful shells that hubby was given. We didn't think they'd be allowed in but these were fine.
Be carefull when buying the necklaces because most of them are made with seeds and some are even dyed another colour so you can be conned:o
