We had priority being in a suite for tender off the ship but I don't think we had the same perk to get back on the ship. Does anyone know for sure?

We were in a Royal Family Suite just recently. It sounds like what you are looking for. It has 2 bedrooms with a huge balcony. We only had 3 in our room but it worked well for us. There was lots of storage too. We enjoyed the suite benefits as well.

the other food options left something to be desired and the drink stations were not easy to get to . if the buffet was closed there was no drink station outside either side of the pool deck.
On the August 23rd cruise there was water outside at the bar at both the regular pool and solarium pool. You just did it yourself from the big water with ice containers. Nice and easy. Was it different on your cruise?

Agree that navigator HAPPY SHIP. we just got off navigator and crew and fellow passengers such a pleasure. Is it the region or staff or.....? Would like to duplicate again but not sure out of galveston.
Were you on the OP's cruise? I was on the week before and the staff we encountered were wonderful. Not sure if there was a lot of staff changeover between the 2 cruises or not. We wanted to duplicate our cruise too because it was so wonderful so we booked again onboard. :)

Perhaps this says something about demand for cruises from Galveston.
Perhaps, but we personally loved our August 23rd cruise out of Galveston and weren't among those who had a problem with getting on or off the ship. I do understand that others had a problem so maybe we were just very fortunate.

We also found Galveston prices much cheaper. Our Liberty cruise next year in a grand suite is $3,000 cheaper than the same room on Freedom for the same week out of Florida.

We sail on all cruise lines. You never know what is going with the staff at the time you are on board. Could have been the lady that sailed before us and staying on for a back to back. She went to the Top complaining about people smoking on their balcony. I wondered if she complained about the smoke coming into the promenade deck inside from the casino? It was pretty strong there. I never smelled smoke on my balcony. I will never know what caused the staff to be unhappy. I do know I will never sail RCCL again. And that's okay.
That is so unfortunate! We really don't know what is going on with staff. We have only been on Disney (5) and Royal (4). Our room steward, dining servers (Mytime), head waiter and concierge were the best we have had. We did not notice much smoking though we heard after the fact that someone above our aft cabin was chain smoking on the balcony. We didn't really notice anything. I don't think the smoke was bad in the casino either for our cruise. We definitely didn't notice it on the promenade deck. It was much worse on our Jewel cruise. My biggest complaint was that room service got our order wrong every single time! My hubby was disappointed in the desserts and the food could be improved some. Overall, we have very few complaints. I really am sorry that you didn't have as enjoyable cruise. :(

Wow, we were on the August 23rd sailing of Navigator and didn't find that at all! We found lots of smiles along with very helpful, friendly staff. I am sorry this wasn't you experience! It was our 9th cruise and we didn't notice any difference with this crew compared to others except maybe more helpful. We booked again while on board.

Thank you for the detailed information! I started another thread looking for this exact information. I am surprised the concierge did not go back and get the others. We will be some that will need to retrieve our luggage and would not want to miss out on that time saving perk!!
We were able to get to the front of the line with just our red tag and a porter. We were running late so didn't walk out with our concierge but as soon as the porter saw our tags he went in front of everyone, including other porters and said we had priority because of the red tags so you would probably be fine even if you lose the group, if you know to check on it. :)

I think the sign mentioning no shorts, strapless dresses, etc was on another cruise ship. I have been on the Navigator the past 3 weeks and there is no dress code sign outside the MDR. The first 2 weeks people were dressed more informally, this week there have been many more Tuxs and formal gowns. I hate to see the formal nights go so informal, have seen shorts and a little bit of everything.
Actually there was a sign outside my time dining on the August 23rd cruise but only on formal night. I did wear a dress with small straps without a problem on formal night. In my time dining I was actually surprised at the amount of people who wore long gowns especially because people were very informal on the other nights. We saw people not only in shorts but also in sweat pants. As an aside, we had a fabulous My Time Dining experience.

We had red tags last week and it worked wonderfully in Galveston! We were not out of our room early enough to be escorted by Nadja so just went on our own. A porter asked us if we needed help and we said yes. When he saw our luggage tags he kept saying we had priority. He took us to the front of a huge line and said, "Red tags, I have red tags here." We were through customs in just a couple of minutes. I think it is a great suite perk!

Thanks for the comments! I went to Nochi last week and it was wonderful but I stayed away from the frozen drinks because I just wasn't sure.

I am wondering at these different beach clubs in Cozumel does anyone know if they use bottled water to make the ice cubes? Do we need to be concerned about what we eat or drink at these all inclusives, like Nachi or Mr. Sanchos ? Thanks!

Does anyone know if Anis Tebbeb will stay on Liberty after it moves to Galveston?
I am not sure but we had Nadja last week on the Navigator out of Galveston. She told us she has put in to be on Liberty when it arrives but doesn't know yet if she will be. Nadja was fabulous!

Just so you know, we were on the Navigator this past week and waited in line for the porter. All of the sudden they stopped taking bags and just had the line go directly into the building and just told us where to leave our luggage. It seemed to work fine too.

So far, it looks like they are only changing some Eastern Caribbean itineraries.
Thanks,! I hope it just fizzles out and doesn't cause anyone any problems!

well, they didn't save a suite for us. Never had this happen before and am very disappointed. Has this happened to anyone else out there/
Oh no! What are they offering you?

Does anyone know which ports are they concerned about with Navigator of the Seas? Royal says we should keep checking. We are currently scheduled for Cozumel, Cayman and Jamaica out of Texas. Thanks!

I tip the servers in Chops on the last day. They do such a great
job and learn your habits very early in the cruise. I'm not sure
if others tip but I like to show my appreciation for the great service
all week.
Thanks for your input! We only went to Chops for breakfast once on our last cruise but I think we may go more this time. Thanks again!

I asked this question in a different thread but this seems a more appropriate spot. If you eat breakfast in Chops as part of being a suite guest do you tip there as well or is it part of the regular dining tip? Thanks for any input!

Enjoy your time on Liberty. We sailed on her in March out of Ft. Lauderdale in a GS and had a great time. Make sure to get suite breakfast in Chops!
So, when you eat breakfast in Chops as part of a suite benefit are you supposed to tip in there daily or is it considered part of your other tipping? Thanks for any input!

We were in a grand suite 2 years ago and a Royal Family Suite next week and neither time were we contacted by concierge before our cruise. Not sure why?

Don't know what category Suite you have booked, but if you are in a GS there is no table in the cabin to eat on. You do have a table on the balcony with two chairs that can be used. Just hope for good weather.:D
We are in a GS out of Puerto Rico. Sitting on the balcony is usually one of my favorite parts of cruising, so I am OK with that. I am crossing my fingers for good weather! :)

Really? Interesting. Is there anything that says we can do this with a gold card? I only saw something for off the ship but not on. Good to know for our next cruise that also goes to Cayman.
