  1. We just booked a 2018 Aquamarine suite on Serenity and now I am considering changing to a classic suite after reading all the comments here.  Does the classic suite have updated outlets/USB ports near each side of the bed?  Thanks for any info.

I was on Vista in December 2023 in cabin 7123 with two loungers and two chairs and a small table on the extended balcony.

We are booked on Vista for next February in PH2 #7114.  Glad to hear that loungers are on the extended balcony.  Any problems with noise from below, since we are over the dining room?  Thanks.

  3. Happily following along as we anticipate sailing on the Ascent b2b from February 18 to March 3 in a sky suite.  We have tons of shipboard from booking last February on the Edge.  We have prebooked Eden ( loved it last year), Rooftop GG, Fine Cut, and Raw (also really enjoyed it on the Edge).

Just relaxing and enjoying the ship is our goal.  We might walk around a few ports on our own.

Have a wonderful cruise.  Thanks for doing a live trip report.

  4. We just returned from a B2B on the Silhouette in sky suite 2123.  There was the sound of rolling carts from above every few hours.  I’m a light sleeper, so this bothered me somewhat.  My husband didn’t mind it.  We have two future cruises booked on the Edge and Apex, where the sky suites are located under other cabins. I think this will be much better for us.

Hi!  How was your dining experience at the lawn club?  We are on the 4/21 sailing.

    Thanks!

    Bob

We had a very nice dinner there last night.  You go up and choose what you want and they make the salad for you.  We had the veggie flatbread, small size, which was delicious!  My husband had the veal chop 👍and I had the grilled salmon with lobster Mac and cheese.  All good.  We were so full but managed to eat a little of the warm chocolate chip cookie/vanilla ice cream dessert. We were still docked in Bonaire during dinner, but it was very windy.  We personally would not choose to eat there when the ship was moving.

  6. My friend, Monica, who is also on this cruise with us, has organized a crafting get together for tomorrow. Anyone is welcome to join us tomorrow, Thursday Feb 17th at 10:30 a.m. in the sky lounge.  Knitters, , crocheters, any type of needlework are welcome to join us.  If you just want to be social, drop in too!

cruisestitch, I’d love to meet you.  You have been so helpful in all your trip reports, and I have been following along for quite a while.  If you can, please drop into the sky lounge tomorrow morning and say hi.

  7. Hi, cruisestitch,

We are onboard and I was in the gym when I realized that the stop in Bimini was cancelled due to weather.  We’ll have three sea days until Bonaire.  Fine with me!  The cruise has been excellent so far.  Lovely dinner in Luminae with friends we met two years ago on this ship, entertaining comedy show at 9:00 last night, room service breakfast on balcony this morning, treadmill walking in gym, and now relaxing in the Solarium since it’s too windy up at the Retreat sun deck.  Life is good.  20 more days of this.  😀🚢

We boarded this morning for the first day of our B2B (on board til February 4). Very impressed with the ship, the cleanliness, and friendliness of the crew so far. Presently sitting in the ‘Eagle’s Nest’ at the Sunset Bar, ready for Sailaway.

Life is very very good! Ready for our 15th and 16th Celebrity cruise(s)! 😀

Have a great time!  Bon Voyage!

I am taking the cruise next week, I am back to back.

i hope you enjoyed this cruise and have an easy time tomorrow transitioning to the second one.  I’d love to hear how the testing and whole process goes.  Are you staying in the same cabin? Thanks for all your postings on this thread.  It helps anticipating our Silhouette cruise on February 14th!

This is a good day.  The captain just made his Sailaway announcement and there are no new cases.

So good to hear!  Following along with your posts.  Thanks for answering questions and your comments on the current cruise.  We will be boarding Silhouette on February 14th.  I think you mentioned that you will also be on that sailing.  Just curious from your screen name, are you a knitter by any chance?

Continue to have an enjoyable cruise!
