  1. When we go out of Brooklyn, our kids will drop us off.we are seniors who walk with canes,so I was curious as if there is a special drop off place,so we can be closer to building, and is that after luggage drop off. Saw videos of lines outside and a long walk from people being dropped off. This could be a deal breaker for going out of Brooklyn
  2. Those are about on the ship. My post was about shore excursions, but thank you
  3. We are trying to decide between the above 2 ships (haven't cruised since 2017),and we're looking at videos of the balconies on both. To those in the know,is it our imagination, or does the view on te msc seem smaller. Thanks
  4. I have seen videos of both, and the monkey part itself seems similar,so I was just curious about opinions,if how one is better, worse,or the same as the other. Thanks
  5. I actually checked with the ny terminal itself, and for all cruise lines, they will direct you to special line, and special seating area
  6. Just wondering, at the Manhattan cruise terminal,if there are special lines for those with mobility issues(we walk with canes),so that we would not have to stand in line as long at pier 88. Thank you
  7. We are 2 seniors that have watched videos of 2 different Monkeyland excursions from Amber cove, one is Monkeyland and Dominican flavors, the other Monkeyland and Puerto Plata city tour. Besides asking people's opinions on the merits of both excursions, due to my wife's bad knees, and inability to climb stairs into transport, that does not have a rail next to the steps,I am curious as to the modes of transport. As an example, we saw a video of the mega truck country excursion. She could never get into that But if there was a rail, she could. Crew members help doesn't seem to help her. Only rails Thank you
  8. Unfortunately, with her knees she needs a railing.crew helping her won't do it.but thanks for the thoughts
  9. I was watching some videos about half moon cay, that showed trucks with steps, that are there to take you to further areas such as some excursions, and the buffet. We noticed there were no rails next to the stairs. My wife has bad knees and it reminded me of a hayride that we were going to take our granddaughter on, that was very similar, and she couldn't get on. Is that the only transportation there?
  10. Thank you Didn't make sense so figured this is the place to ask
  11. Pardon my confusion, are you saying what I read is not accurate?
  12. I have not been to this particular private island, but I read a post(unconfirmed)on another site, that if you don't book an excursion at Half moon cay, then you can't get a tender til 1 pm. With the ship In port til 4 pm,what would be the point in getting off,if that's accurate?
  13. This may be a weird question, but here goes. Both cruises that we are considering stop at Half moon cay. We are seniors, that are way past our active years, but are also not huge on lying out at the beach. We noticed an eco glass bottom boat tour, which leads me to my questions. Over the years,I have,at times been susceptible to vertigo(which thankfully rarely effects me on board cruise ships.) But many years ago in the Florida keys,I was on a glass bottom boat tour, that got me sick,as the boat was still and bobbing, while we looked through the bottom. So does anyone know if this boat, just sits still like that,or is it like the semi subs which keep moving and never give me issues. Sorry for being so long winded
  14. I was just curious if on the Vezinia,if the new carnival menus That are on the other ships, are also on this ship,as I understand there are some differences in some dining venues
  15. I had all these. My curiosity question, was which would be on a 5 day cruise that combined 2 if the following ports Falmouth, labadee, puerto plata, Nassau But it's nothing dealbreaking. Just curious
  16. I just drove my wife crazy. On our firestick, I put on you tube,a virtual cruise balcony. It makes you feel like you are actually there, just relaxing
  17. Thank you,and it worked.guess I misunderstood the general things that I read, that The Mexican menu, was only on western Caribbean cruises Thanks again
  18. 5,on either Voyager, Independence or Explorer, with a combo of the following ports,Puerto Plata, labadee,Nassau,Falmouth
  19. As I told him/her,followed steps and only showed kids menu Not urgent Was just trying to get idea
  20. We are undecided between a dew either going to Puerto Plata and Labadee,or Falmouth and Nassau, but the menus ony go out 3 months, and when I clicked on menu,it only hD kids menu I believe ships are voyager and independence and explorer
  21. I was able to sign on app,but being old and technology challenged, I can't find menus, and anyway, can't check simila cruises, since they only go 3 months out and are to different parts of Caribbean. My cruise would not go to Mexico
