  1. What are the benefits of booking with a TA? (other than the extra 25 dollar obc in my case) I had to cancel a cruise within 24 hours of booking , and one particular TA company is taking 2-4 weeks to refund my credit card. Plus, they charged me 76.00 for insurance that I declined at booking. Why would I use a TA? Am I missing something?

  2. I am actually going from Canaveral to Sanford. I did find a cheaper rental but I really don't want to drive. My car insurance does cover a rental but nothing will cover a rental like the coverage they offer at the desk. Hand them the keys and walk away. Easiest way to go if car is damaged.

  3. Thanks for clearing this up. Looks like there is no incentive to book on board. Buying an open reservation is not what I had in mind. So, if that is all they offer, no thanks. My return flight will have change fees but I am also thinking about how much it will be to return to do the baltic cruise. So, here's the deal: booked TA to Copenhagen for myself and DH. He no longer can go (work related) so I am going solo. Now that time is not an issue because of DH, I can stay longer. So this is getting quite pricey because I'm going solo, but like I said, I'm already there. I would have to book in the next few hour as I am flying out to MIA tonight.

  4. First time on NCL leaving Apr 27 on TA to Copenhagen. Thinking about continuing on for the next two legs of the trip on Star. Would it be better to wait till Monday to book on board or before I leave tomorrow? Do they give you much incentive to book on board? Thanks!
