Sailed with you one time on Serenade on a Jan 23 2010 cruise. Whenever I miss cruising I look at one of your videos. Just looked at your Jan 2016 B2B.
As far as repositioning of the Equinox, if you look at any online booking site they are offering 85% off Celebrity cruises in the Mediteranean. You can't make money like that. Who knows what the political climate will be next year, probably worse. Plus if I was a RCI shareholder I would be alarmed if management decided to risk putting a billion dollar ship in harm's way (nice target for terrorists). I'm showing my age but I remember the Achille Lauro incident where the terrorists invaded the ship and threw one of the passengers in a wheelchair off the ship (rest in peace Leon Klinghoffer).
As far as depending on passengers from Antarctica and the North Pole I have no comment on that. I'm glad you are happy enjoying your Celebrity cruises.
It would be nice if Celebrity would offer more longer voyages than just the 10 or 11 day cruises.
In the meantime my sister who lives with blindfolds on is going on a river cruise down the Seine flying back to the States from Paris. Oh boy.

I hope not because I'm rebooking on Brilliance TA for 17 April. Hate to see that one cancelled and going Caribbean for the summer also. :eek:
I think each cruiseline will reposition a ship, or two, from Europe to the Caribbean...not all the ships...
Unfortunately, we are living in rapidly changing times...:(

My September 4th cruise from Barcelona is now showing up as an 11-night Southern out of Miami. I wonder when they were going to let us know....[emoji53]. Very disappointing
There are 4 webinars with travel agents over the next 2 days. I'll bet that this will be covered with TAs and then released to the general public.

If Celebrity is doing this, I expect to see Royal do the same. I also expect to see the other cruise lines do some of the same repositioning. If you cruise the Caribbean, this is great news....at least for now!:):)

The 1A any day over the C3. The 1A will have a balcony that is 1.5 times to 2 times lager than a normal cabin. You will spend time on your balcony in the Caribbean.

This is a text I received this morning from a very good friend that is on Empress right now...
"Let me say last night in chops was the worst I have ever had. A table walked out after a half hour of no one coming to greet and take their drink order. We had the same server as we did on Saturday. She was terrible last night. Extra glasses never cleared from the table. She finally provided bread with the entree. We were done with the first course (salad and soup) and the dishes just sat there for about twenty minutes. The couple we were with have never been in chops and sadly they will never go back. He asked for a beer and 45 minutes later it was delivered. Not opened, just placed on the table with no glass. I am canceling tonight. I can't deal with that again."

$600.00 can buy a lot of specialty dinners, excursions, or one spa visit;). I love cabin 1100 and it does have a great balcony. The OS suite will actually have a smaller balcony by sq footage.
Whenever I am lucky enough to score 1100 or 1602 (the other JS on the aft), I always make sure to mark my reservation "do not upgrade".
It is a very close call for just $600, but I would stay with 1100.
By the way...part of the extra space in an OS is because they use some of the balcony space for more space in your cabin. I sleep in my cabin, but I spend more time (when I am awake) on my balcony.
If you love a big balcony stay in 1100, but if you want to be soiled with the suite package, drop the $600 and upgrade...

I am booked on the April 13, 2018 sailing for this ship / itinerary. Any ideas what would happen if they do decided to cancel these sailings?
I was booked on the April 27, 2018 and that cruise was canceled and we were offered a $200.00 OBC to switch to another cruise. One of the choice to switch to was the April 13th date....:eek::eek:
Something is happening with Navigator, but I do not know what. I do know that Royal has been doing this a lot lately, not sure why?

My wife has an Amex Blue card and had the offer. I have an Amex Gold card and did not have the offer.
I just used my wife's card to book myself a premium beverage package for $363. I'll let you know if we get the $75 back.
You might get is back, but you might not...the rules say beverage packages do not apply....

I called C&A today about this. I have 2 bookings. Last week they told me it would be up in 24-48 hrs, then by today they would be back on the website and when I spoke with them today they said 2 weeks. They see my reservation but I cannot access it on My Cruises. I am booked directly with RCI
My bookings are for April 22 and 27 2018
2 more weeks? By that time my reservation will no longer be in their system because I have not been able to make the deposit on it. :mad::mad:
How does Royal keeping letting stuff like this happen...
