G'day there,
I have a pro video camera that I have used for documentaries & news gathering.....but....now I only take an iPhone 6 plus and record on High Definition with a DJI Osmo Gimbal that allows steady shots. It also has a tracking device that will track a subject and gives very smooth footage.
Because I have been filming for a long time, I take more shots from different angles than i need, choosing the best footage at post production on Final Cut X.
The hardest part is the music choice to suit the scenes.
Watch out for the Baltic 10 Day video which should be posted to youtube and the link here in the next few days...especially look for the Swedish Archipelago .

ROCK SOLID! Did you use a tripod for the videos?
Thank you for viewing....it took me 4 days to edit on Final Cut X. I used a DJI Osmo gimbal which is 'Rock Steady' for a lot of the filming & panning shots. Getting up at sometime 4am as its daylight at 3:30am, was hard but exciting to get the right footage for entry into some ports.
Wait til you see the Baltic footage!!

Very nice video, great quality. What equipment did you use?
So glad you enjoyed it. There are more on both my youtube sites 'bellair video' & bellairintl'
These were filmed using an Apple 6 plus in HD and the use of a DJI Gimbal that removes the need for a tripod. The video was edited on the long sea days and then post editing on apple Final Cut X in my studio back in Melbourne. I wish I could have taken the drone along for shore shots but HAL does not allow these onboard due to irresponsible flyers that have been flying them dangerously.
We will soon be on the Zuiderdam in May 20 for 24 days UK, Ireland & Baltic cruise so I should have a video highlight of this posted mid June.

Thanks for sharing your video with us. Maasdam was my second HAL cruise and I can still here the Captain's noon message where he always referred to her as the "Beautiful Maasdam".
I am happy that the company is putting some money back into her so that she will be around for those exotic cruises.
She is ‘ the beautiful’ Maasdam’ indeed!

I enquired about both and the Zodiacs will be specifically used on these new remote cruises....at a price as each has a designated pro guide (part of the package if you book these) The wheelchair symbol on each ports shown is purely for guidance only as my wife need a chair at present to get around but can handle the stairs ok, so they said this was fine and should be no problem

What a great Itinerary you have booked!
I do hope they can get you onto Easter Island as it is like our Cook Island stop....very touch & go with most cruises using the Tenders in big swells.
I am sure you will be fine.
Well done.

Thank you so much for posting this wonderful video. It brought back great memories of our cruise through the South Pacific last year on the Maasdam. The singing in Bora Bora was just beautiful. That was our favourite place of the entire cruise. I will add the link to my desktop and whenever anyone asks how our cruise was, I will show them your video! We love the Maasdam and have another cruise booked on her in June.
The Church singing was pure chance and it was a bonus being in Bora Bora on a Sunday Daisybertie. Sooo wonderful was the singing!

The 'Nest' was definitely evacuated and, of course, anywhere on the top, during this op.
