This is my first time on Royal and I hate their website. What I am looking for are not things I can read in the daily papers on ship but things on the ship not to miss that I wouldn't know about or overlook. What things do you enjoy on this ship.

We are on the Serenade of the Seas sorry thought I posted that.

We are going on a port intensive cruise so for most part be gone during the day. I have never been on RCL before. What things should I not miss on board ship in the evening? We are in our 50's so I don't think we will be rock climbing.

I am a first time cruiser and I am confused by the TP packages can I buy per flush. If I can only get the 1 ply how many squares do I get? can I just buy 7 squares or do I need the whole roll? Also My sister is double D+ in cabin next to mine can I just use hers? I don't think anyone would know. Thanks for the help.

No, I feel the buffet should serve different food to give variety. Those who don't want to dress up can eat there & skip the formal MDR if they choose. Cunard is the only line overall that enforces the dress code across the entire ship.
I have a problem with this way of thinking. We chose a cruise for so much more than if they have formal night. We both pay for our cruise ticket which includes being served in the MDR. I am not really the dress up kind of person but you feel that I should go to a buffet(which I am not a fan of) and serve myself or pay more money. How would you feel if they instead offered the Formal Experience for extra fee. Heck maybe they do it in Speciality Restaurant and couple it salon service for total experience. In my mind it is the same thing. That being said I will wear a dress on formal night and Hubby will wear a suit as way of paying price for eating in MDR.

I will go with different agent next time. I use an agent as second eyes to make sure everything is done right. Sorry cautious person. She doesn't answer phone and has trouble calling back so I have called many times.

TA told me she would print them off. She has not done anything other than data entry for her commission so yes I expect her to do what she has said she will do.

How long before you cruise show the travel agent send you your documents? I like to take my time and read through them. I am less than 3 weeks from my leaving day.

I bought the transfer from our hotel but so far have only seen the check in time from 12 to 3 but not what time to catch transfer...Will I get it before I go or when I get luggage tags and other info?? Sorry I am just getting excited for my trip.

Just talk to the Matre D' the first day when you're on the ship & they'll arrange a traditional seating for you or they'll give you an assigned time in the dining room.
thank you

okay couldn't get early TD on my cruise so thought of going to late. But it is really too late for me and being diabetic this Thread is scaring me. My Hubby and I eat early at home but I am now scared of an hour wait??? What do other diabetics do. I do take a insulin before I eat and would hate to have low before I get to a table??

Cruising June 30th on the Caribbean Princess and I am wondering what types of bars are on the ship. I only see the nightclub on their web site? Is there a way to see what things to do that the ship offers on sea says? On other cruise ships I have been on they had omelets made in the buffet do they have them on this ship? Thank you for any help you can give me.
