The Port of Seattle (not Norwegian) offers a Port Valet Program at the end of your cruise. Depending on what time your return is and the airline, you may qualify. Luggage is picked up late evening early, send directly from the ship to your particular airline and flight. You pick it up at your home airport. You will receive your boarding pass the day before arriving in Seattle. You board the bus, go to the airport, straight through to Security and your gate. Do you know how far in advance of your cruise you can book this? I’ve noticed their web page lists very few ships at a time.

This happened on the Dawn at the start of their current sailing. It appears both of these NCL ships arrived in Southampton from EU counties (France and Germany). Could this be an issue related to taxes/duties on supplies brought aboard there and NCL choosing to not pay the UK?

Folks embarking on the Dawn seem to think it’s a way to avoid paying tax or duty on the alcohol.

Just saw a posted notice for passengers boarding the Norwegian Dawn today on Facebook. It said that local regulations prevent them serving alcohol while in local waters. Anybody know anything about this rule in Southampton or other British ports?
