Onil and he’s excellent. We are having a great time. My son now prefers YC and my daughter and I still prefer the Haven. If the Royal Suite had a second bedroom and bathroom it would be a closer call but in my opinion the food is significantly better in the Haven.

I agree, the 2/2 Haven villa is amazing. We are in the Royal Suite right now on MSC and prefer the Haven 2/2. I think you get what you pay for and the YC is a bargain (almost $7k cheaper). I like the food much better in the Haven but the service is better in YC. Pros and Cons to each line. I probably won’t do MSC again but that’s mostly due to the cabin. If the Royal Suite had a second bedroom and bathroom it would be the ideal cabin for us.

I definitely love the Royal Suite but in a perfect world it would have a second bedroom and bathroom. The living room has been made up for my teens - one on the queen sleeper sofa and the other on the couch made up as a twin (just blankets on top).

Dinner at Butcher’s Cut.

This is our first time sailing MSC. We are frequent NCL Haveners. Yacht Club checkin was a breeze - 15 minutes from the parking lot to the cabin. We are staying in the Royal Suite and it is lovely. We usually stay in the Haven 2 bedroom. Tonight we are having dinner at Butcher’s Cut. IMG_8707.mov

My kids first cruise was at 3 & 5 and it was a family trip with grandparents and great grandparents. My kids are now almost 13 & 15.

We had a great trip even though the ship is jam packed. I’m not sure we would have had as much fun if not in the Haven because I don’t love crowds, waiting or so so service. We had excellent service and the Haven wait staff also does double duty in the specialty restaurants which was great. The arcade package is $175 per card and you can swipe once every 3 minutes. When my kids were little they shared but now they have their own. My friend got charged over $1000 in arcade fees, for some reason they didn’t apply the package. We all signed up on day 1 in the arcade. Receipts were NOT given. Definitely get a receipt or snap a photo. Thankfully my arcade packages were properly applied. The internet onboard is terrible. The streaming package should be called the buffering package. I have nothing else to compare it to but I can’t imagine the regular unlimited package is any slower. We had amazing weather and I was glad Bermuda got dropped.
