Hi all,
Tried doing a search for this but came up blank. I'm into sweet desserts/pastries (except custard based desserts). Can anyone recommend "Swedish" desserts to try?
Thanks!!

One point per night unless you're in a suite (forget what it is if you're in a suite).
Here's a link that will enable you to enroll online (it's at the bottom of the page):
http://www.royalcaribbean.com/cas/
Also make sure you're using a supported browser like IE 10 or Chrome. The same link tells you the number of points per night.

I was on the Jewel beginning of December and I think the biggest thing you'll notice is the centrum space compared to the Royal Promenade on the bigger ships. There are fewer options dining wise, but that will change since the Jewel is going into dry dock in April. Fewer options shopping wise and nothing like the ambience of the Royal Promenade.
You'll notice that the Jewel has a lot more natural light streaming in compared to the Freedom.
All that being said - if you're doing a Greek Island cruise - your itinerary will be heavily port intensive, so you really won't notice the difference compared to say if you're doing a Caribbean sailing.

On serenade now. Shrimp cocktail is on the menu and available.

That's good to hear. Was on the Jewel in December an no shrimp cocktail.
-
Keep in mind those menus are from 2012 and that some stuff isn't offered anymore like the Shrimp Cocktail.

You can try this site out. I was looking for pictures and it had some pictures as well as some links to you tube videos of cabins (obviously not for every cabin but a good cross section).

I was wondering if anyone knows of any tour operators in Helsinki? I know some of the tour operators who are in St. Petersburg offer tours in Helsinki - I've checked them out a little, but they seem similar to ship's excursions (up to 30 people $50USD/person) - any thoughts on them?
Thanks

Depending on which port you get off at, sometimes RCL has post cruise excursions with airport drop-off for people with late flights. May be worth looking into.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback. I appreciate the responders who looked at the 2 tours I'm looking at and provided the feedback. I missed the Nevsky shopping aspect when I first looked at TJ Tours itinerary. I think that's what it really comes down to - time on Nevsky Prospekt or more time at the other sites. I'm going to start a thread to ask about Nevsky Prospekt - did a search and couldn't really find anything specific about it.
Once again - many, many thanks for the feedback.

Was on the Jewel 1st week of December and they had 1 muster drill - 8pm (only lasted about 10 minutes and was irrespective of boarding time). Late dinner went as scheduled at 8:30pm but as you can imagine, was quite casual given the muster drill time.

Hi all,
Traveling to St. Petersburg in July on the Serenade of the Seas. Wondering if anyone has done either the SPB Highlights Tour or TJ Travel Standard Tour? I know both tour companies get rave reviews so I think I can't go wrong with either one. Just wondering about these particular tours?
Thanks,

For those of you who have been on some of the St. Petersburg private tours - what sort of food do they serve with the "typical Russian" lunch? I'm a fussy eater and definitely don't like beets so I'm trying to get a feel for what the food is.
Thanks,

Is the love seat in all E2 cabins (I have an E2 for next year on the Serenade on deck 8)? Is it 2/3 size of sofa in D1?
Thanks,

Hi all,
I understand that there is a priority boarding line at the Pan American Pier in San Juan Puerto Rico. Does anyone know what tiers is it for - is it for Gold and above? Platinum and above? Also is it easy to find or is it hidden away?
Thanks,

Hi all,
I did a search but couldn't find an answer. Does anyone know how much a taxi is from SJU to the Sheraton Convention Centre (1 person 1 large suitcase and 1 carry on)?
Thanks!

Hi all,
I was looking at the deck plans for the Jewel and couldn't find a diamond lounge. Is there one?
Thanks!
-
Thanks - that worked perfectly for me.
I see that the Serenade of the Seas will be docking at S167 STADSGÅRDEN on the day I'll be boarding her. Is that the central port?
-
I tried the port link but couldn't get it to give me anything in the future - am I doing something wrong? Could it be my browser?
Thanks!

I usually travel solo and have done traditional dining late seating so you can meet people at your table. Lately I've found that the people at the table either show up for a couple of nights or don't show up at all.
I was wondering with MTD is it possible to request a large table so you can interact with other people or will they see a solo traveller and seat the solo traveller at a small table by themselves?
-
So it sounds like you can have the OBC applied to either the current sailing that you're on or the cruise that you've booked. Is that right?
-
Thanks for the feedback - it helps with my planning.

Hi,
I'll be travelling on the Serenade of the Seas round trip from Stockholm. What is the earliest flight I could comfortably book? I'll be flying to either Frankfurt or Munich and then from there to Toronto.
Thanks,

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for restaurants around the area of the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver. Seafood would be the preference, but would be open to other types of restaurants as well.

I have a Nexus card and I was wondering if they have Global Sentry/ Nexus terminals at Canada Place for US CBP? If they don't do they have customs cards there that you can fill out - or do you not need them?

They didn't really have anything when I was on her last December. A couple of solo traveller events, but nothing else.
