There were several of the issues you mentioned so I let the 12 hour hold lapse and will start over today better informed. Thanks so much. Just an FYI…when I called Carnival yesterday to ask about one of our family member’s immigration status and what documents he would need, the cruise specialist asked me if I wanted him to look at the cruise dates and ship we were thinking about just to see how full that week is getting since it is just weeks away. I said sure! He came back with bad news that it is getting full but he found 3 balconies near each other and an inside cabin across the hall. I thought…wow, perfect! However, being a many year member of CC and reader of reviews and the forums before we travel, I asked the questions you posed…is there a cavern below or above, are we close to a kitchen or elevators, is there potential for noise and congestion…all which he answered no! He lied OR he didn’t know and didn’t understand my question. Either way, I should have checked myself, but in a rare lazy episode I booked on a 12-hour hold then went directly to CC to ask if anyone knew issues with deck 6, another lazy move. Lessons learned and I’ll do better next time. I’m hoping my experience is read by someone else being lazy today.😍
