  1. The breakfast is a continental breakfast, no cooked food, serve between 8 and 10 AM. There are juices, fruits, meats, cheeses, pastries, coffees and teas, Bellini’s and Bloody Mary’s usually served in one of the specialty restaurants The evening happy hour is not a single event at a single location. During the hours from 5 to 7, you can order drinks from the Captains Club happy hour menu at various bars around the ship. Probably not important if you have a beverage package, but if you don’t, it is an opportunity for two hours of free soft drinks, cocktails and a limited selection of wines.
  2. A few years ago Celebrity experimented with cartons instead of cans or bottles in Alaska. Haven’t seen them since
  3. It’s too bad that an unwise decision to fly with an arrival on embarkation day is now causing you stress. I think you know now that you should never arrived and embarkation day. At this point you can ask yourself, how much money is it worth to reduce that stress? if you miss your Connection, Celebrity will do what it needs to in order to connect you with the ship. It might not be in Corsica, so you are looking at possibly missing a couple of days of the cruise. be sure to pack all your medications and a couple of changes of clothes in your carry-on in case you and your luggage are separated.
  4. Things are changing so quickly and now I am thoroughly confused. Anyone else back to back on these two cruises who can help pick through the various rules and regulations? I would normally look to the Roll Call but this is specific only to B2B passengers. Interested in regulations for vaccinated passengers only. cruise 1 visits Canada. Departs Monday 3 October. arriveCan is required pre-cruise, yes? what days are acceptable for testing for this initial embarkation? proctored or unproctored? types of test accepted? cruise 2 visits Bermuda on 17 October. will Celebrity be providing tests for B2B passengers during cruise 1? Bermuda fee required, yes? I know this is an extremely fluid situation but if I know what is required today maybe I can keep track of changes in a more organized fashion. Right now it just seems chaotic to me.🤪
  5. Here’s something I have never understood. it’s well known that devices with surge protection are fire hazards so why, since Celebrity has TWO separate sections in the FAQ regarding “prohibited items” and “what not to bring” why is there no mention of surge suppressors? and why is the fire danger not spelled out clearly on one’s booking confirmation?
  6. Ok, this is new, at least to me. Fill out a survey and get 20 power up Points = 2 Captain’s Club points. No sailing required. This came via email.
