The only postings I could find complained about how inefficient and irritating it was to print out unneeded pages or trying to figure out how to condense the eDocs on their printers.

Go back and reread post Number 1 where it states it "wastes my paper". unless they are talking about the environmental impact. That's about 3 cents.

Just get a passport. Then you don't have to even think about what to take as proof of citizenship.

I would lock the phones in the safe. If the family starts to call and send pictures to their friends the phone bill could wind up costing more than the cost of the cruise.

I'm sorry Bill, I said that wrong. It's as you said. If the price has gone down when I make final payment, that's the price I pay. If it goes up, I pay the price of what it was when I booked. I don't check pricing inbetween the time I book and the time I make final payment. I just check right before I make final payment.

So if you book at say $1000 and two months later the price drops to $800 then goes back up to $1000 at final payment you pay $1000. Seems like you would loose out on $200.

But hey whatever floats your boat!

I find that I get the best prices at 2:32 AM on the Tuesday 6 months before I want to travel. However, I have to be sure to put on my old flannel shirt and turn around three times before sitting down and starting the computer.

You can check but I don't think cancel for any reason works once you are on board. If it did folks would wait until the last port and cancel.

The VAT is a very complicated issue. Not even sure the cruise lines have it right. The collection seems to be associated with cruises involving Spain. Simple solution. Avoid all cruises that involve Spain in any way!

Yes cruise fares would rise if automatic tipping were discontinued. They would rise approximately $12-15 per day per person. Exactly the same as if you either left the auto tips or prepaid tipping in place.

The solution as always is if you don't like it then vote with your pocket and don't cruise.

Are you asking for them to do the searching for you to see if they have something that fits your budget? That is something they might do.

On the other hand if you are asking if they will change their prices to fit your budget I think you are out of luck.

In my opinion, to recommend Naples over Capri is to do a disservice to all of Italy. That being said I would not bring a baby or a child or a teenager to Capri. I believe they would soon get bored and it is a long way back to the mainland.
