  1. Last week my DW and I got off the EOS and noticed that when they bring bread durning dinner in the MDR they just leave the bread at the table. They don't walk around and ask what you want, no big deal just a little change. Also I want to thank everyone in section 2 during the QUEST. Thanks we won!

    :D

And you noticed this when you got off the ship?

  2. I have conquered the "How to get cheap airfaire?" question. This really works

    1. Check airfares daily for one week.

    2. Choose the one fare that is best.

    3. Wait till 00:42 on Wednesday of the next week

    4. Put on you old plaid flannel shirt

    5. At 00:56 on the same day sign on to Matrix

    6. Check that fare and book.

    This really works.

Not really, the whole point is you can't make a science out of picking an airfare any more than you can make a science out of picking a number on a roulette wheel.

But hey sometimes you can get lucky.

  3. Every one wants to know why the "child" was served alcohol. It has not been established as a fact that he was "served". His friend could have ordered it for him, he could have picked up a drink from an unattended table, he could have raided a mini bar. In those cases he would not have been "served".

What is fact is that he was stupid enough to go to the teen club after drinking. Seems to be a little lack of training (of the "child") somewhere here.

  4. Wow! That is quite an overcharge. RCI owes you a refund plus interest on that one.I hope you called your credit card company and disputed the charge. Then you should quickly hear from RCI since they will not be paid by the credit card company.

Yes they sure do owe you interest on that one. For a whole year it will amount to about $20. The phone calls will probably cost more.

  5. That reminds me - when i was on the Oasis in the beginning of the month, my roommate and I decided to sleep in the morning we were in Labadee. We were going to get off the ship, but were in no rush.

Imagine our surprise when we were startled out of bed by the emergency signals. First, panic, and then the realization that we were in port and it was likely a drill.

You'd think they'd warn people when they were going to do a drill like that...

Would you expect them to make a shipwide announcement that a drill was going to take place at say 9:00AM. That probably would have woken you up as well. Also most effective drills are unannounced so everyone is caught off guard and they can practice their emergency skills.

  6. Stay away from TripMate, I paid for the upgraded insurance and I am fighting them now because of my broken foot on the Breakaway last May. They denied my copays because "you weren't covered once off the ship". (Even though I have referral letter from NCL Doctor to go to an orthopedic surgeon) I pointed out if someone had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital, they are no longer on the ship either. I am in the process of reporting them to ripoff report, the attorney general, the BBB, My local senator, my councilman and the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce who are all neighbors of mine as well as plastering my situation all over social media/cruise forums. I hope they read this too so they know what is coming their way. My few dollars in copays will cost them a lot more then that in lost revenue.

    You go girl!
