Great for you, the space inside and the deck you will truly enjoy. The room is much wider which should give you more space on the deck

There are hours for the Thermal Suite , manly during the daylight hours.
If you think he would enjoy it I would go to the spa as soon as you board and sign up fo the week, not sure of the price. Do a search and you should find more info.

One bottle of wine per adult can be carried on without paying a corkage fee. If you want to take more you can but all bottles beyond the 2 are subject to a $15 corkage fee each.
We usually take a case of water. Slap a luggage label on it and send it through with checked luggage. Same thing for soda if you want that too.
Have fun!
Hello Janet,
Good to see you on CC

As said it can happen at anytime, hope you are one of the lucky ones

For extra exercise try avoiding the elevator and use the stairs. It can get to your legs towards the end of the cruise.
Wish I could help on eating tips, but I'm a bad boy on cruises.

Most people will be in dark suit with tie in the main dining room. It can be deceiving on formal night as people get dressed for different venues and times.

Not sure about the rubber bands, but yes the do have the light free weights

I don't think it cost Princess more money to have your room ready, it's can be a better way to schedule the employees.
I can see where it's a great perk for those Boarding

Summer Cruises can be very warm and to hot to sit in the sun, but then the water can also be in the low 80's
Have fun on your cruise

Deck 5 Plaza at the International Cafe, should work out great. Fresh brewed coffee and you can get a small bite to eat.

I agree I would do the Panama Canal

Welcome to Cruise Critic
You may want to post this also on the Princess Board for faster reply

As small as the staterooms are at least with the mini suite, you will find much more room with 4 than the regular rooms

Welcome to cruise critic.

Thanks for the reply, usually when can we go into our room right away?
You will have no problem going straight to your room upon boarding

We are looking to book the Grand Princess March 22nd sailing from San Fran to Hawaii. Usually DH and I just book an interior midship as I tend to get a bit seasick, but these are all sold out. Do you think I will be ok on an Interior Aft on deck 9,10, or 11, or will it definitely be worth the extra $$ (in terms of seasickness mainly) for an oceanview obstructed on emerald deck. It will be around an extra $300 for both of us, and since we don't really care too much about the view, I would love to have that money to spend elsewhere unless it will make a significant difference.
Thanks in advance for any help!!:)
Welcome to your first post on CC
I think if your worried about seasickness go with the midship cabins. Otherwise you would always be second guessing yourself in case it was rough.
Have a great Hawaii cruise

Sounds like how they would group the ages based on the number of kids.
