  1. I was also on the July 2nd sailing, on deck 11-A1 cabin. My room was a meat locker. Even with the sun streaming in, the room was very comfortable. BTW- those cabins have a rectangular shaped shower with a door, not a shower curtain.
  2. Just disembarked today from Infinity, so this is not a “I heard, I read, someone said” report. The buffet was self serve. The only place where I saw anything remotely resembling served was at the pizza station. My frustration was that salad bar had three levels and to reach the uppermost level required arms considerably longer than mine. This resulted in folks leaning their head against the plastic shield or, as several smaller people did, putting their head under the plastic shield. So much for anything resembling sanitary practices. On a couple of occasions, there was a crew member refilling the various salad items. I asked him to please put a few items on my plate, which he did, reluctantly. Now, to be fair, Infinity is extremely short staffed as evidenced by a number of reports. They were to get a significant number of new crew added today. Let’s hope that results in a return to served buffet. (Don’t hold your breath!)
  3. Mine was transferred in a matter of minutes. By the time I walked from the Future Cruise desk, got a cup of tea at Al Bacio and went back to my cabin, with the intent of sending an email to my TA, she had already emailed me. “Booked another cruise I see” said the email. Sounds like the issue may be with the Big Box TA.
  4. Another person with allergies, sinus, sneezing, and coughing issues. According to one of the many allergists I have seen, I am allergic to spring, summer, fall, and winter. Every morning, season, location, weather notwithstanding, I have an allergy attack while waiting for the morning meds to kick in- Lots of sneezing, coughing, and nose blowing. On a cruise ship, I plan on staying in my cabin until things subside. The other issue I have is that wearing a mask, for longer than about 20-30 minutes, makes my nose run. I have to find an out of the way place (usually a ladies room) to take the mask off and blow my nose. I have had other ladies give me the evil eye because they think I am sick.
