Saint Greg I just found your review. It was awesome. Rivaled only by own own Sid_9169 and his tequila shenanigans! I want to see the two of you side by side at the Alchemy bar giving the bartenders a run for their tips. I leave in 4 days for my first solo cruise and I can't wait!

(Not the property of Carnival corporation whatsoever) It was then introduced to a martini glass, and garnished with fresh bruised basil... I actually called about this last week since I have 3 rooms that have OBC & we paid for all three. I was told no it couldn't be transferred and the credit goes to the first two people listed on the room.

That works for me. My DD is second so she can just buy me my first 2 adult beverages!

Can OBC be transferred? I am sailing with my adult children and have an OBC that, I believe, will be split between all of us. Can Guest Services transfer the OBC credit to me since I'm the one paying for the cruise?

I would agree, but the emails are coming directly to my inbox with her past passenger info from Carnival. And they come often. I get very few of them and none with any good deals.

I get them weekly for my ex-husband and we’ve been divorced for 10 years!

Why not move the casino and shops to the Riviera deck. There aren’t any windows anyway and non smokers wouldn’t have to walk through them.

I have recently started cruising solo and would love to see some solo cabins. Carnival just hasn’t realized how many solo cruisers there are.

Hi all, thought you might like to see how we set up our interior cabin for 5 adult size people on our Carnival Ecstasy cruise last week. Here is a link to the 4 day Funtimes and the Circle C and Club O2 activities as well. We had a fantastic time! The entertainment was amazing (the production shows are not to be missed). Gary the CD was so funny and got the party going. He taught a Scottish Dance class that was so much fun. The food was excellent and so was the service. The live music was a big hit. If you are thinking about a cruise on the Ecstasy but worry because she is small and older, don't let that stop you. It was great!

When I try to see the photos, it tells me the album is empty. What am I doing wrong? My family of 5 has this same trip planned and I would love to be prepared.

But I can't be in the chair 100% of the time .... sometimes I have to go to the rest room or jump in the pool or get a drink. That is not hogging.

To me, clogging is an hour or more of not being in the chair. I am all for Carnival having someone come though and mark unoccupied chairs. No worries for someone who is actually near by.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but I head for the laundry room the first day on the ship with my packed shirts and khakis. I place them in the dryer with a wet washcloth and a dryer sheet. They come out wrinkle free in about 15 minutes.

I just booked it for October 2019 out of Ft Lauderdale

I've never been to the steakhouse for dinner, but I was told there is a bar in there that anyone can use. I imagine it's a nice quiet spot for a drink. Does anyone know if their wine list is the same as the rest of ship or do they have some specialty wines. I would love to maximize my cheers value!

One tip I learned after my first Carnival cruise in 2005 is that they'll let you order any pasta on the main entrees as an appetizer. I can be a picky eater but there is usually a pasta entree a few nights that I will ask for but as an appetizer. It usually comes in a smaller portion, too. This is especially helpful on the first formal night when I want both the spaghetti carbonara and prime rib. :)

 

Another tip is that there is an excellent banana split dessert on the kid's menu in the MDR, and they'll let adults order it too. It's great when you want something small for dessert or just want a good banana split.

 

Something else I do at Guy's Burgers is I'll ask them to put chili on my fries. Guy's chili is different--kind of sweet and spicy. I don't want it on my burger as that'd be messy, but they're more than happy to put some on my fries or on the side. And, it just occurred to me that you can take your chili fries to the Blue Iguana salsa bar to load them up with cheese and sour cream. Mmm loaded fries!

I forgot all about the banana split! Not on the adult dessert menu but you can always order one.

Solo cabins with a solo lounge.

I would love to see solo cabins too.

Does everyone have luck with using baby powder to remove sand at the beach? I’ve never tried it.
