  1. With the biggest problem being it's near impossible to switch from one to the other. It's not that disastrous to go the alternative you mentioned (I often take it to the beach depending on who I'm picking up or if I'm feeling too cheap for tolls since 520 is a nice drive), but there's really only one chance to change your mind (maybe another one, luckily have never had to try and find another).

Not unless you feel like wandering through Wedgefield or Avalon???

  2. As a huge football fan, I've never had much trouble watching games on ships.

As you can see in my avatar, I'm a Bengals fan... so frankly... it's not often my team is ever featured as the NATIONAL game. That said, I tape them at home with my NFL package as a backup. I can also watch on my phone's DirecTV app and since we're sometimes in port for 1pm games, I've done that as well.

As mentioned by others, I will confirm that On-Air and the Aquatheater are the places to watch on Oasis. As well as your room for some games. Monday and Thursday games I've watched from my room. Especially, when I was stuck in On-Air one night with a dozen +/- massive cry baby Steelers fans. Seriously guys, we beat you like once in a blue moon. Suck it up, buttercup.

On other ships, I've watched in the pub (whatever it may be named on that ship), the pool screen, and the sports bar Playmakers (only on a couple of ships) and I haven't found much difficulty.

  3. When you first board and you are exploring the ship, stop by the dining room and check out your table placement. That way you can walk straight in - there might be a bit of a crush on the first night, and they do have staff waiting to show you to your table, but it's much easier if you know where you are going.

I'd second this in a big way. It's super easy, especially when you are mainly killing time until the ship leaves. They are really cool about it and I've had staff call out across the room "Which table number?" and I yelled it back and they pointed me in the right direction from whatever table they are setting up.

  4. I was looking to book S, Caribbean cruise on Freedom, looked at the pictures of the ship and just couldn't do it. The itinerary was amazing but the ship reminds me of Enchantment too much.

Were you drinking heavily when you did this? I could 100% see this if you compared Freedom-class with Voyager-class because they are very similar inside and out because the Freedom-class are just stretched out versions, but ENCHANTMENT????????????

That's like saying Zach Galifianakis reminds you a lot of Dave Chappelle because they are both funny guys. ;p

  5. having to watch an alligator with its mouth taped shut passed around like a cuddly toy.

No matter how large or small it was, I can tell you that you don't want to experience it without its mouth taped shut. I can promise you that.

Now if you're against the premise of it, I think you should've read the excursion more closely. Captive animals are captive. You can be as PRO or AGAINST that as you personally want, but vote with your wallet.

As someone who lives nearby, but has no knowledge of this specific place, I can tell you that a lot of good work is done by these small animal places. That's a general statement. I'm sure there are plenty of places that DO NOT do good, as well.

  6. Thank you.

I don't know what it is about men and shorts but....

    my husband is sooo happy.

    "I can wear shorts?":D:D:D:D

You kinda do know what it is if you think about it.

You know that breeze you get when a woman wears a flowing skirt? Well, unless you're the one of the approximately 2.5M Scottish men on the planet (roughly 0.3% of humans) who MIGHT consider wearing a kilt normal (and I highly doubt all 2.5M do in 2018) then most men are highly unlikely to wear a skirt.

    It's like that, almost.
