Thanks for posting. I had been watching our shore excursions but not close enough I guess. Saw your post this afternoon, and went right to the Carnival website and booked our cabana for this January!! Can't wait to be enjoying it come instead of enjoying the snow back home.

We are scheduled to go to Half Moon Cay on our cruise in January also. We chose this cruise for the private island. I too have been looking at the excursions and waiting for them to add the ones for Half Moon. We would like to book a cabana. I really didn't give it much thought, I just thought that they hadn't listed them yet. Now I am worried that they may change our itinerary and exclude this port. It won't ruin our cruise, but we really were looking forward to going back and soaking up the sun from this beautiful island!

We have a PVP that we always use to book our cruises. She is very helpful and goes out of her way to help with anything we need. That being said, she does call or e-mail anytime I have looked online to see what cruises are available or just to look around. I figured out how to avoid that, by not being logged in when I want to just look around. I usually leave the Carnival site as not being logged in until I want or am ready to book something. Then I simply log in and look at the cruise I want, and within a day my PVP is calling me to see if she can help. It works for me!!

We have decorated a door the past 2 cruises. This was because we were celebrating a birthday for one of our friends who were sailing with us. We found it so easy to find our cabin, that I am planning to decorate my door this year just so we can look down the hallway and see exactly where our cabin is. I enjoyed looking at all the doors that were decorated and don't personally think it is tacky at all, just fun!

We went on our 1st Carnival cruise on the Destiny back in 2010. I hope to get back on her sometime soon now that she has been refurbished and has become the Sunshine!

When is the release date for cruises to Alaska for summer 2015? We are looking to book a cruise to Alaska in August 2015, but there are no cruises available yet. Anyone have any idea when the dates will be released and what ship? Will it still be the Miracle?

We sail in a week and I am very nervous about these new menus. Not for me, but my husband is a very picky eater and I hope that he will be able to find things he likes. It took me a long time to convince him to cruise, and now that he likes it and ahs definately enjoyed the food, I hope the change doesn't turn him off to cruising. Won't make any difference to me, as I never have a problem finding something I like, and I absolutely love to cruise. Look forward to getting out of the snow every winter. Thanks for your opinions on the new menus and can't wait to be trying them out for myself!

Looking forward to your review. 13 days and counting until we will be on the Glory. So looking forward to our cruise and am getting a little anxious about the new menus. Can't wait to be in the warm weather and out of the snow.

We got 3 rooms from Hotwire.
01/04/14 - 01/05/14
$381 + 74.13 taxes = $455.13 or $151.71 ea.
We are happy campers. Anyone know how far the walk is to bayside? We have stayed in the Holiday Inn Port of Miami before.
Thanks!

There is a CVS a couple of blocks down the street. We have stayed in this hotel a couple of times. We really enjoyed both visits. Having the marketplace right across the street was wonderful. Also enjoyed the view of the ships the morning of our cruise. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a pre and post cruise stay.

I would like to know what time of day the Chocolate Buffet was. I am a chocoholic and want to make sure I have plenty of room to try a little bit of eveything. Loved your review and can't wait to board the Valor in January!!

We saw him on our Princess cruise and really enjoyed him. We met up with him at the Island Party on Deck later in the week and he was a really nice guy. Enjoyed him a lot!

Can anyone tell me when the excursion desk opens? I am on a back to back so I will be on the ship before everyone else boards. I want to be there to get the cabana I have picked out. Does it open as soon as everyone starts to board? Or is it a little later. We will be on the Fascination out of Jacksonville next January. Thanks for any and all help.

I got my stamp on my 2nd cruise! How do I go about get a stamp for the 1st cruise I took? We were on one of the short cuises aboard the Caribbean Princess in May. I tried to see the Cruise Circle person, and also called and left a message for her. She was never at her desk when I would check during the entire cruise, nor did she return my phone call. Would really like to keep my passport and have it complete. As I am sure I will be going on many more cruises (the next in Janauary!) The cruise bug has bitten hard!!!

Sorry my cabin is E730. The Emerald Deck on the Grand Princess.

We are in the aft balcony cabin on the Emerald Deck on the Grand Princess. A730. Will we have a beam. Has anyone had this cabin and can tell me about it? There will be 3 of us in it. Me and my 2 sisters. I know we will be cozy, but hoping the balcony is big enought for all of us!
Tendering with Faster to the Fun
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
I have a question about FTTF tendering. I know how to do the tendering getting off the ship, but do you get special treatment when you are getting back on the ship? We will be stopping at Half Moon Cay, and I know everybody likes to stay as long as possible. There usually is a big line waiting for the tender boats. Do FTTF people have to wait in that line, or they allowed to go to a different line and get on the tenders faster? Just wondering.
