Not to hijack but aft or spa mini suite?
I would take the aft and buy the spa pass for the week, which is exactly what I plan on going. Don't expect an answer from Siora7777 sine this was not an original question.

The initial question was does the Op stick with their mini suite or go aft balcony and to list the pros and cons since OP has never stayed in an Aft. Punkiincc is the person who brought up the corner afts on deck 8-10. Why don't you just focus on yourself and your own answers. I was answering the original OP, not the other person who asked another question.
Sorry if I got your grandma panties in a bind Siora7777, please accept my humblest of apologies, for what, I don't know but please accept them anyway. It will make me feel good.

Aft.
Thanks siora, but the question is about the corner aft balconies on decks 8-12. Whether the examples were ones to op was talking about.

In looking at the deck plans and the booking engine of available cabins, I don't see that the 'corners' are cabins...For example on 10, the two outermost aft facing cabins are 10317 and 10318 - but they are not in the corners.
Are these the cabins you're referring to?
.....since Kristin never got an answer.

I know... Weird question.. But we have a full day Boston Whaler rental and the boat has no bathroom. What do people do who have one rented? Are there public restrooms available at different areas accessible by boat? Thanks in advance!

I will be at Coco Reef on August 13 :) with my family of 6.
Can anyone please tell me if I need to bring my towels from the ship or does
Coco Reef supply the towels. It would be one less thing for me to pack for the day.
Thank you very much!
They will supply you with towels.

I'm thinking they might have a rough ride to Bermuda because of Hurricane Bertha. I'll be watching for her arrival at Heritage Wharf on Wednesday morning. We loved this cruise last September and we're planning on doing it again next May. It will be cooler for the trip down but that's OK. It was very hot in Bermuda in September. Love Bermuda! Love Breakaway! Hope those on board now have a good trip.

Looking at NOAA.gov at the proposed track of Bertha, not being a weatherperson, I would think that they would be far enough away from it to cause them any issues.

Can we eat at the sushi bar in Jasmine using the UDP?
Of course you can, but you will have to pay since it is not included in the UDP.

Any chance that the all-inclusive option is really working well on the first day it is available?

.....but even going through the booking process a couple of times, unless you know where to look, it's hard to find the "Promo" box. It kind of blends in with the surroundings. I think the box color is too light.

Where were you renting the boat from and what time were you figuring on being back to the ship for the night on Thursday?

We will be in Bermuda from Wednesday to Friday the first week of September. We plan to get off the ship and spend the first day in St. George before heading back to the boat then to harbor nights Wednesday evening. Thursday morning we are renting a boat for 5 hours from h2o watersports followed by horseshoe Bay later that afternoon for the rest of the evening. Friday we plan to do Daniels head in the morning and dockyard early afternoon before leaving back to nyc at 5pm. Give me all the suggestions please! Does this sound OK?

.....just want you to be aware of the following:
Update May 2014: Harbor Nights is scheduled from May 7 to September 3, 2014, on every Wednesday from 7pm to 10pm. This is the 22nd anniversary of the event.
Saw this on http://www.bermuda-attractions.com/bermuda_0000b2.htm.

So here's a questions... If you are in The Haven and have UDP for all members in the cabin, can you order from multiple restaurants to make up your meal? For example...an appetizer from restaurant a, 2 entrees from restaurants b & c and desserts from restaurant D Slightly ludicrous, I know - but I'm weighing my options on doing UDP or not for a 12 day cruise.
L
.....yes, you could do that.
But would you really want your butler/waiter getting that mad at you to have them rush around to all different restaurants to fulfill your order while they have to take care of other people too?

My family is going on the Breakaway and husband and I are thinking of joining. Hoping NCL fans can give me some info
We love trivia and such, will we find it on the Breakaway?
What are the range of charges on the pay restaurants?
Any suggestions for a good location for a balcony room. I have some mobility issues so would like to find something centrally located.
I would be very grateful for any information or comparison between NCL and Carnival.
We are not picking people but after 10 Carnival cruises we may be a little biased.
thank you so much
.....most of my cruises have been on Carnival so far. I used to cruise with my young son and he loved it. Now since I don't cruise with him any more, I have changed to NCL. My wife loves it tremendously more than she liked Carnival.
This will be our second time on the Breakaway, you will thoroughly enjoy it.

.....and look at the NY Harbor webcam. It is really foggy and you can barely see the ship.

Very few people read the Stickies, and we definitely do not need more Stickies.
It is very easy to simply skip the posts that you are not interested in.
.....with my wink emoticon I figured you would know I was kidding around.

.....with the changes in policy and other things recently, there seems to be a throng of people who find it necessary to post that they are leaving the forum and/or cruising forever.
Maybe the Mods can put a Sticky up of anyone who wants to say goodbye. Then we look in that Sticky to find out when someone left and why they did.
It sure would help with all of these "Farewell Tours".

Price drop close to sailing
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted · Edited by wasiii
There is no way to tell when prices will drop. You could book now at that price or wait and possibly pay less or possibly pay more. The choice is up to you.
