Sounds great, we'll be back 12/7 after Dickens on The Strand, it'll be our Diamond cruise:)
I wonder if MTD waiter Bogdan is still there, hope so.
Congrats on your diamond status! :-)
We did late dining and Jeet was our waiter. He was from Mauritius (island nation in the Indian Ocean). We enjoyed hearing about his country and he we very accomodating. We decided to take a "short nap" before dinner one night and overslept! We were very late to the dining room but he was able to take care of us and seemed happy to help.

We were just there on the 21st. There were like 8 boats in port and there were 41 on our bus... but it just made it a lot of fun. :-) There were 4 stops.. all had their unique thing. We enjoyed it!

Don't be worried!! This was the bad guy's last week. The guys at the Schooner bar were excited that he was done with his time on the boat! :-)
-
We will certainly try again next time we visit that port!

We are looking forward to being back abord her in May.
I was amazed at the number of people with stripes actually working and smiling about it. :-)
We had rain at two ports and a very prompt refund was given for our excursion that was prebooked. We made the best of it and enjoyed the ship.

Just a quick note to say what great friendly and happy service we received on Navigator. We had EXCELLENT dining room bar service. Luena had too large a section but she worked very hard and kept smiling. She visited us several times during dinner to make sure we had what we wanted.
Our room attendant we nick named "Sneaky sneaky". He was great, the room was always taken care of but we hardly ever saw him.
The guys in the Schooner bar were great, despite the paino guy being awful. LOL. They always were glad to serve us.
The ladies in the gym were very helpful and personable.
Finally the windjammer.... there were a lot of officers in there and they weren't standing around watching... they were helping and seemed happy doing it.
The food was great. I think part of that had to do with a new Cheff that came aboard. We were pleased.

We were scheduled to go to Almaplena last week on the 19th. The Navigator did dock (the Princess ship was not able to due to high wind). It was very rainy and windy. Despite the fact that we were able to dock Monica was able to refund our deposit due to the weather. We really appreciated this and we will scheudule again the next time we find ourselves in Costa Maya.

I've only heard good things about it. We were debating between it and the Bar Hop and decided to go with the bar hop this time. It's on my list of things to do.

I appreciate the review msMagPie! :) I've read the other reviews on this. I think we are set for this one. Should be just my husband and I. The other 4 in our group aren't interested, so it will be a good getaway day for us!
-
Thanks Mistygirl. I did look at your review before the final decision. It was very helpfull. I got the rest of our group to join us, so there are six of us with confirmed reservations. :)

Thanks for your comments! I appreciate the advice!

That sounds like something we would really enjoy! I think we will try to book it! 12 1/2 weeks! :)

Hello, my husband and I will be in Cozumel in November on Navigator. We are a young 40 year old couple. We are trying to do something fun and upbeat in Cozumel.
If the other two couples are coming with us, we will likely do the Salsa Salsa Margarita tour through the ship. If not we are looking. I saw the Bar Hop Cozumel (booked independently). Can anyone put out some pro's or cons to either option?
Anything else we should look at? I think we need to book early. There will be 7 ships in port including Alure.
Thanks!

I've finally made up my mind. This is where we are going to try to book for our upcoming Navigator cruise. Please tell me the beach is as clean as it is mentioned. The sea grass grosses me out. I've sent the request, I hope they get back to us soon. Who's coiming with us? :)
-
I was seeing the same thing. If you go in like you are going to make a reservation it will show you the pricing.
-
Thanks! Sorry, didn't scrolll down far enough.
-
Anyone care to speculate with me on the pricing?
We booked a 10 night on Seranade for Nov 2015. We paid $2,369 for an E2 balcony (before $200 balcony discount). We have some friends that decided they want to book and today an E3 balcony is $3,067. Wow... either we got one heck of a deal or the pricing will come back down. I'm kinda thinking we got a great deal...

There's been rumor around town Southwest was pulling out of KW. I hope that's not true because our airlines are very limited.
If by KW you mean Key West, they they stopped flying to Key West in June.

All,
My fiancé and I have decided to get married on Royal Caribbean's the Navigator of the Seas departing on November 9, 2014.
CONGRATS! We will be on the boat the next week!
-
I'm not sure I follow how this is Royal's fault. I would think that the people doing the excursions make the rules. If they are saying 5 and up do you think that it would be safe for your 2 year old if someone told you that they would allow it?
-
Steph, my mom wanted the room on the top floor because of the view. I warned her and she booked it anyway. We were glad not to lug luggage farther than the 3rd floor as my dad grumbled. LOL. I think it's a great place and right in the heart of Old Town.
-
I didn't read all of the other post... However, I have stayed at Da House in Old San Juan twice. ***There is no elevator, and it is above a bar so if those are issues, then don't book it. **** Even though there isn't an elevator, you can select what floor your room is on. You pick the room that you want when you book. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms. We enjoyed it. ($75 to $125 per night).

I'm not sure how I missed it... except that if you search by the month and Navigator is comes up along with the Nov 2nd sailing that is going to Belize. I likely never clicked on the itinerary link after that and assumed it was the same. We had originally booked for the Nov 2nd and changed it when the prices went down for the 16th because it's a better time for work.
I'm just glad we booked when we booked and we will be on the boat! See you all then! :-)
-
See you onboard. We must have booked around the same time. We booked a balcony for $1379 plus some OBC from RCI and the TA.
We are good with a sandy beach, cold drink, and bathrooms....have to have 'decent' bathrooms. :-)

We had a great trip on Navigator. I can't say enough about how friendly the crew was!
As for excursions.. it's been a year or so since I went to Falmouth but if you are looking for something cheap to do that's safe there was a "beach day" we booked on board. I want to say it was $30ish per person. Came with the taxi there. You could leave when you wanted. There was a more expensive option that included food, but you could order food there if you wanted it. It was a nice beach with no pandering and good security. Good facilities. We would do it again.
In Cozumel in November we booked the Cozumel Bar Hop independantly. It was nice. The bars/beaches on that side were very nice. There's one or two we may catch a cab and go to next time.
Have fun and take care of her until we get to go again in May.
