Salmon on my Alaskan cruise 12 years ago on HAL. I am not a big fish fan, but was told the salmon was really fresh in Alaska so I had to try it. Didn't really like it but at least I can say I tried it.

I think kids are too entitled. What happened to enjoying a cruise for the cruise. The food, the ship, the shows and at the same time visiting tropical ports of call. That isn't enough?

Kids are too entitled? Probably, but don't you think that kids who grow up taking cruises are entitled to feel that way.

Royal flush for a grand was nice, but the best one (less money) was last year on the last day when I was playing 3 card poker.

I played about three hours with 100 and had 30 left so I played blind with 15 on the bonus bet. Straight flush.

I didn't even realize it until the table went wild. Over 600. It made me even for the cruise so it was nice.

I'm glad you had a good time with Pete. We were with him two years ago and had a great time. Our first time there, we did a Carnival tour and felt very uneasy. Four years later we went with Pete and did the Falls, tubing and ate at the Ruins and it was a wonderful trip. Next time we will give him a call.

Few years ago we were in St. Thomas for my birthday and I got breakfast room service before we went ashore. I brought the food to the balcony and forgot the coffee. I went to get the coffee, turned around to go out and saw four seagulls on the balcony rail staring at me. Those suckers are big.

Take taxi or private shuttle. You will wait a lot less time and pay a lot less money.

We were on the Mariner of the Seas last year and on the last night my wife went to bed early and I stayed in the casino late. I got back to the room just in time to put the luggage out and saw she had some clothes on the suitcase so I packed them.

Needless to say, in the morning I hear her scream. I left her just with the nightgown she wore to bed and she was not happy (as my son puts it, she made sounds i have never heard before).

I went to the purser and was given a tee shirt and told that was all they could do. I explained she had nothing and worse of all it was my fault.

The supervisor came out and she asked for a description of the luggage. She went to look and came back in about 15 minutes with my wife's suitcase. I was shocked especially since I did not fill out the luggage tag thinking how can they lose a bag on the ship.

I was very thankful and tried to tip her, but she would not accept. I did write a very nice letter to many people from the company.

I was even happier after my son told me about my wife's plan to have me wear her nightgown while she wore my clothes if she did not get hers back.
