Thanks all for your thoughts. Hope it will help others but for us it is a done deal. I called my TA for something else and she asked if I checked to see if the price went down. One thing led to another and here we are. It is a 7 day cruise with two sea days. Air is expensive because it is to Europe so any savings is good. As much as it would have been nice to try a mini suite, we have been in balconies before so know what it is like.

Thanks all for the help. My TA called back and said they found a way to not lose my EZ Air when changing my cabin to the balcony (she actually had to call someone else who also had issues). When she called me back it was already done so we are in a balcony now. A mini suite would have been nice as a change but we are going to save $700 so I don't feel too bad 😉.

Thanks. That info helps. I have a little bit of a balance issue. When I booked there were no balconies in any of the locations I wanted.

I am booked in a mini suite but second guessing what it would be like to step into a deep tub for a shower on a cruise ship. Does the tub have a non stick surface? What are your experiences like? I like the idea of the extra seating area. I can downgrade to a balcony but when my agent tried to do it she was seeing that it was taking off my EZ air so she stopped. She asked if I had an air special and I said no. She is checking further and will call me back.

I agree with you. We meet the nicest people on cruises... who could be disgusting when we are not looking 😞

@tawlaw1526 That is truly disgusting. It is a step worse than what my dh once saw. He was in the buffet sitting down while I was getting my food. There was a man sitting at the table too. That man wanted some salt or pepper (don't remember) so he unscrewed the cap and stuck his fingers inside to get a pinch. He did it multiple times and then put the cap back on. My dh was so shocked he was speechless. I sit down and after eating I started to get up but dh said to wait a bit. Once that man left my dh told me what happened and he then went to get a crew member to take away the compromised shaker.

You won't see a subtraction from your OBC for the amount you used toward booking excursions.

In the US there doesn't seem to be a specified time frame. We have already had it applied for a September cruise.

I have already submitted my shareholder info to Princess and have OBC posted for a future cruise. If I were to sell my shares and then rebuy 30 days later (in order to take the loss for tax purposes) will that affect my OBC? I don't see how Princess would know I sold them. Thanks.

I almost booked Athens Gate but found Elia Ermou Athens Hotel to less expensive for my dates. I found both on the ports of call board.

Again a frustrating experience. Called EZ Air (800-545-0008). Rep put me on hold to check things. After a while the music stopped and then I was disconnected. Called back and now wait time less than 5 minutes. I thought I got an agent but they disconnected me. Called back again and am now waiting for a rep. If I had never cruised with Princess I would cancel.

I realized that a few minutes later but didn't update here. I have no idea why EZ Air keeps dropping some of my flights. I spent a long time Friday getting one direction fixed and now see that the other direction needs fixing too. So frustrating.

I think my flights are screwed up again. 😞. How early tomorrow morning can I call EZ Air?

We would like to go to Herculaneum (already been to Pompeii). I read that you need to be able to walk a mile on cobblestone. I have no problem walking a mile but what is it like on cobblestone? Because the cobblestone is old are they fairly flat or still rounded?

Update: Last night I went to each of the airlines websites and saw that all flights were available (I have a login for Delta and saw all flights listed.. the other airline I just confirmed they offered the flights). I was still getting the error message on Princess though. I just went into my booking and all is well. I did not get the error message when I click on manage my flights. I have read many times on here of people having problems with Princess Customer Service. I can now truly empathize with them.

Hanging up. Will call another day if that error message is still there. I can't see what seats I picked out.

19 minutes ago I updated that he put me on hold and is taking care of it. I am still on hold!!!!!!! Meanwhile, I see the flight is on Princess. I went and picked out my seats for all flights. After I was done I clicked manage my flights and got that dreaded error message again! I then went and logged into Delta. I see my new flight there along with the others. I don't know why this agent still has me on hold. Makes no sense. Also makes no sense why I got that same error message that my flight has changed and I have to wait for update. It wasn't there before when he added my new flight and I picked out seats. Ugh. I'm afraid to hang up. If he hasn't come back on in 16 minutes when it is 7 pm my time then I am hanging up. Jeopardy is on then!!!

This agent is actually helping! Yay!! I knew Delta had an earlier flight at 1015 am and he is putting me on that. I will have 4 1/2 hours in JFK which is ok and then I get the same flight from JFK to Rome that I was supposed to be on. I am now on hold while he takes care of it. Thanks!
