Ha!  I made the one time mistake of paying for it.

I learned last year on the Ruby Princess of the free offering. And it was so excited that I didn't have to pay for it. With patience comes a prize apparently. 🙂 So I take it as a yes, that the Caribbean Princess offers it in the main dining room?

The Wheelhouse Bar usually has single malt flights and special whiskeys, $$$, if that is what you mean. You can also check out Crooner's. As far as cocktails go they will basically mix any drink if they have the ingredients.

There is no bar named Good Spirits Bar.

Yes, that I already knew of. The good spirits bar is something new that just came about not long ago. They just added one on to Regal but it's not functioning as the good sports bar but it took over the spot of the international cafe bar.

I edited my post to add that regular price seems to be $9.99 per day. I gage the price special by that.

I called Princess directly. As u expected. It pays to get the unlimited first day onboard. It's 25% off the $9.99 a week so roughly $69.99 for elite passengers. Make it cheaper than the pre cruise price. Hooray!

If you have the chance to buy pre cruise for that price (7 day?) I would snap it up.

It seems to vary from cruise to cruise and when you get onboard you may not get that great price.

The Regal MedallionNet unlimited is awesome!!

Thanks. I've done the pre-purchase the last two visits on the revolt of The medallion it. And I wish I looked at the paper that was in my cabin stating some form of discount for elite passengers to purchase it on day one but I don't really recall the letter nor that I really studied it. Now I'm kicking myself.

  5. Can someone please confirm what The medallion cost, if I purchase it onboard the ship on day 1. Trying to figure if it pays to pre-purchase it prior to the cruise which is $59.99 for the unlimited internet package. OR if it comes out cheaper to wait to purchase it once on board the ship day 1. I can't remember if there's 25% off for elite passengers on the first day to purchase. Making it cheaper than the $59.99.

Absolutely, we do it all the time.

You just have to play the slot machine for a couple of minutes then cash out.

Thanks!!!! this makes me so happy that I can use that non-refundable to cash out instead of just buying something, just to to spend the money. Thanks a bunch!!!

Can anyone please explain exactly what the "Medallion Access Pass" is. I have the screen that displays an "OceanReady Pass" on my android phone and it has instructions to "save a screenshot or print a copy". Are they talking about the QR code box on the screen? If so I do not understand why I would need to print or capture the image instead of just showing it at the port. I called the Princess help number but they were absolutely clueless.

I have the Ocean Ready Pass on my phone. I screenshot the QR code, just so I can pull it easier through my camera roll. Just like airline QR codes / tickets via the app, they always suggest taking a screenshot of it, in case there is any issues you may have with cell reception / wifi of any form where you may not be able to open the app or load your booking ticket. That would be my guess.

As cool as the Ocean Medallion may be and no matter how easy it makes getting onto the ship, I doubt that the customs and immigration people when disembarking the ship back in the US will be very impressed by it.  You will need real entry documents (passport, etc.).  I have paper boarding passes, but I had printed them before I knew that our cruise was a medallion cruise.

Yes, you do have to show your passport to customs at disembarkation. I can speak for Port Everglades, its a pretty quick and painless process. You are no longer required to have a filled out declaration customs form which is nice. I had the medallion for my B2B on the Regal this past December (the debut for the ENTIRE ship v. just select cabins), But I'm happy this time around, as I had the medallion pre-shipped to my house, skipping the check in process for my 2 upcoming cruises in 2 weeks and in March,

How do U preorder?  Onboard Regal in 5 weeks. Boarding pass already printed>

You need to download the "ocean ready" app. After you create an account, you can add your booking number. Then you can pre-order your medallion. I'm booked on several upcoming Regal cruises, so it's only allowing you to pre-order The Medallion for cruises coming up soon. The centers is coming up within 5 weeks you should have access to it. I've been receiving an email from Princess about ocean ready each time when my bookings is available on ocean ready.
