Growing up - when I was a Boy Scout (initially) and a budding trumpet player around the 7th grade. The San Diego Chapter of the Submarine Veterans of WWII approached me and asked if I would play Taps at the conclusion of their Memorial Day service. Did that every year out at the Ballast Point sub base for about 5 years until I moved away. Joined the Navy myself a year later at 17 1/2. Still have the "Thank You" plaque the Vets gave me about 50 years ago.

Will never understand peoples inability to practice common hygiene. 24 years in the Navy, (8) 6 month deployments and a lot more time onboard during workups, drills, exams, and mini cruises. All served onboard aircraft carriers with over 6000 crew-members and never a problem with norovirus.

Miracle does not yet. My understanding is the wiring was run during the last Dry Dock but they didn't get any further than that.

That music video kinda reminds me of my garbage disposal when I run it in the morning (apple core, strawberry tops, etc.). But hey - whatever floats your boat.

Thanks for the heads up on these. Had recently returned some battery powered (little) camping lights to Costco and was looking at another option. The camping lights from Costco were really nice but one of them had a defective fold out kickstand so they would not have worked as I intended them too. Probably going to go with the warm white models over the cool white ones. Just need enough light to walk in the dark to the bathroom. We have some plug-in models just like these (also from Auvon) that we use in our bathrooms at home so the quality is great from this company.
