That's great, my wife is Diamond Elite with IHG. We will definitely be staying there!!!

In February we noticed a new hotel being constructed right outside the cruise terminal to Mardi Gras. Does anybody know which hotel it is and when it opens? Will be SUPER easy, walk to the ship from hotel!!!

We rented from the new company, young couple. Golfcartrentalbonaire.com The only had two seaters at the time I booked two carts. Very responsive thru email.

I have a personal policy of never doing business with a company that doesn't list an address. I don't see one for this outfit.
They have a TripAdvisor review, but it comes up in Dutch so you have to google translate it. Their address is on there.

We are in Bonaire Aug 16th, Bonaire Cruisers is sold out.......has anyone tried using Golfcart Rental Bonaire? Looks like a newer company owned by a young couple. There is only one online review, I'm a bit skeptical. The do use PayPal for payment, so there is some assurance their I think.

After reading all the mostly horrible reviews, we decided to take a chance on returning our car to the 2nd Street location and shuttling to the port. We flew into PBI the day before, picked up the car there, and drove to the Ft. Lauderdale area to spend the night. Everything went flawlessly. The location/lot itself is very small, and I believe the key is getting the car returned before the influx of returning passengers coming to pick cars up. We dropped our car, and the shuttle pulled up in less than 5 minutes. We were early to the port, but we gave the porters our luggage, parked ourselves on a bench across from the terminal and waited until the line began forming for our check in time.
What time did you return the car? We are doing the same in august, always have priority boarding so we get to terminal early....

I am renting a van from Budget pre-cruise, how far is the rental drop off compared to the cruise port?

I actually do have his card. I'll look back in my file. He was very professional and responded quickly.
I would love that information as well. Cruising in August

Log into your Carnvial account to view your cruise and click on "booking and order details." That will show everything that you have purchased for your cruise (you will need to scroll down some).
THANK YOU!!!!

Is there a way to find out if I already ordered water for my upcoming cruise? I think I did but can not find the confirmation email.

My question didn't really get answered though.....does Uber/Lyft use the shuttle line? The regular passenger line is always LOOOOOONNNGGG.

My question is do the Uber/Lift drivers get to use the shuttle line for entering Port Canaveral for Mardi Gras? We have used shuttles in the past, the line for people dropping off with regular cars is always very long.

I was going to say the exact same thing. We have been on Mardi Gras twice (once in an extended (hump) balcony room and once in a Havana Cabana) and we couldn't figure it out either.
There was no light on our balcony Deck 9. Not sure if Mardi Gras has any at all.

Just curious how full the ship felt during your cruise? Did you feel like there was space to spread out? Any concerns about crowding and covid during your cruise? Thanks
We went during Christmas, the ship was not at capacity. Our cruise leaves Saturday, I think it's sold out so will see!!!

Another great tip is the Bar on deck 8, I think it's Dela Rosa. Servers the same coffees that Java Blue serves with no lines!!

Ever use TURO? It's a ride share company that regular people like you and I rent their cars. We have used it multiple times and LOVE it!! Much cheaper that the regular companies. They offer insurance, and check your drivers license as well. Well rounded group of cars, anything you can imagine.

Cruise Control is the best. We always have at least a group of 7 or more. Well worth the little extra for private shuttle service!!

I kept reading about this here, and watching my bookings (I think if you have more than one, you have to go into the planner for each one). In exactly 20 Carnival cruises, we've never received an upsell, upgrade, offer, nothing (I personally think it's because we usually have 3 ppl in our cabin and that's harder to accommodate). But anyway...
Finally! today I saw it, "Exclusive upgrade offer available on this booking". We have an extended aft balcony booked, so I was so curious to see what it would be... Clicked on the offer...This offer is no longer available". Talk about huge disappointment! 😄 Oh well....maybe next time.
Congrats on your offers/deals, it looks they are sending them out frequently now.
Keep checking multiple times a day....that's how I got our upgrade on the last cruise!!

My niece may not be able to go on our cruise in August. She is the second person booked in the room with my son being the first. What happens if she just doesn't show, rather than cancel? It's a "free" casino room, I don't want to loose the offer.

Has anybody used either of these for transport to/from airport to the ship? They have great FB reviews

Are there any resturants that we can eat at and watch the ships leave port?

We always fly into MCO at least a day before our cruise. We are cruising Mardi Gras at Christmas and I am looking for a good discount code. Problem is there are 7 of us!!! I see the 12 pas van is now over $600!! We like to have the freedom of a rental and not any of the shuttles. Any suggestions?
