  1. I just booked the 12 day Journey cruise on the Radiance in 2021.  My wife and I both have the OHS offer, so my PVP says we BOTH get the DOU card first day.  My issue is that it always seems to take forever to get a drink when you have that card.  We usually always get CHEERS anyway, but 12 days is a big bar tab!!!

We have been on the Pride 10 times and truly love the ship and staff. The terminal has easy access and parking ($105/wk) is very reasonable.  The Pride doesn't have all the amenities of the recent ship builds, but has the 2.0 upgrades and Dive-in Movies.  Also, the staff that we have dealt with were top notch, we have had past waitstaff and bar tenders come up to us and talk.  On one of our repeat Pride cruises we had the same head waiter, don't understand how.  The bottom line is, we always have a good time on the Pride and will continue to do so.

What ever you decide have a great cruise.

What has been your experience with the Weather and Seas?  We cruised from NYC once and it was a rough ride thru the Carolinas....

  3. Hello all

We are cruising on the Sunshine next week. We booked a great casino offer and I was wondering if it was a premiere casino cruise. My main question was if the roulette table was $2 chips instead of the normal $1?

  4. Just off Ecstasy September 8th. We parked in a big warehouse down the street from the ship. Very easy walk (10 to 15 minutes)....we did not drop off our luggage at the white tent. We had carryon only....it was only 5 nights and we are platinum so could take our bags right to the room. We walked across the little bridge and checked in.....from the time we parked to the time we were putting luggage in our room was about 30 minutes. LOVE Charleston port...wish every port was this easy!!

What time would you say is best to get to the port?

  5. We always use a one way rental from MCO to coco beach the night before our cruises. In the past a family member that lives in FLA would pick us up and take us two the airport(theres three of us).

This year we are going to rent a car and spend the night near MCO, and catch an early flight. My question is what time to get off ship and not have it being a ZOO at the Budget counter?

I know it gets real busy there with people dropping off and picking up.

  6. We used a one way rental from Budget, was great. Close to most of the hotels by cocoa beach.

Take the car to the port the night before and grab dinner right on the water and watch the cruise ships leave. Its a lot of fun.

Then take the family to the port in the morning, drop the luggage and then take car back.

Only issue we had was they will not take you to the port before like 11 i think...they use the shuttle to bring people to the office that are getting off the ship. If you want to get there ASAP, just arrange a cab ahead of time.
