@Ourusualbeach After giving this more thought, I'm wondering how difficult this is going to be to line up our FCC to a new booking since prices are always being jockeyed around by different sales.
We purchased during the BOGO 60% off so our 2nd & 3rd passenger prices are much lower than the 1st passenger.

Any FCC that I have dealt with has been. If the reservation is moved or cancelled the original FCC is restored to its original terms and conditions and can be applied to a different cruise.
Every insurance company is different. You would be best to call and ask them.

Another question for you.
Our FCC is for three people. When we apply it to a future cruise, is it treated as a lump sum and can it be applied to the new taxes and fees or just the total before the taxes and fees.

@Ourusualbeach I read on another link (somewhere) that if you for some reason need to make a change to the booking that you have applied your FCC to (example: change date, cancel....) you will entirely lose the amount of the FCC.
True? Could you elaborate.
And if that is true, I am thinking there really is no 'value' to insure if they are treating it like they have 'refunded' it to you.
I usually insure through Travel Guard on my own.

I just called the Rewards Redemption number 888-305-4626.
If you are not immediately rebooking, you just need to give them a call once you have rebooked to have them reapply your credit card OBC reward to your new booking. They said you should have your redemption confirmation # or confirmation # from originally applying your rewards for them to reference.

this happened to me, I was trying to book a cabin that normally holds six people but in 2022 the capacity goes to five people and according to the symbols there will be one pullman bed instead of a sleeper sofa. When the reservation system wouldn't accept a sixth person the RC booking agent contacted a manager who explained why I couldn't book that cabin so apparently they are making this change in some places. I would guess there is still a sofa, but not a sleeper sofa any more.

A bit trivial right now, but as I am looking at options into next year, balcony and JS cabins that have shown Sofa Beds are now showing the third pullman symbol.
Are they really getting rid of all of the Sofa Beds or is this just a glitch in the reservation portion of the website.
If you go directly to 'ships' and 'deckplans' (NOT in reservations) they still show Sofa Bed symbols.............

I've been looking at this companies website as well for the beach day excursion in Cabo, recommended by another CC poster.
I am wondering about the companies reliability too.
I did send an inquiry to them via their website and did receive a reply with my question answered within minutes.

Glad you were able to clear everything up & you can now look forward to that cruise!! You'll now need that vaca with stiff drinks after this whole ordeal with booking your cabin & posting on this site. :p

Geeeez, that doesn't help with no symbols shown!
Also, when you select your cabin there is a box that lets you select your bed configuration. If it will not give you the option to change it to 'queen', with 3 in the cabin, then that is also an indicator there is no sofa sleeper & you would have the upper berth with two twins below.

What time does the late show begin in the Princess theater?

Look at the deck plan of the ship you will be on along with the key to symbols shown. If there is a triangle shown in the cabin you are looking at, that is the symbol for the pull out sleeper sofa.
If there is no triangle but the symbol for an upper berth (this may be an astrick-don't remember without looking) chances are high that you would not be able to configure the lower twins into one large bed as then the third person in the upper berth would have to walk on top of that lower bed to get in and out. They told me due to safety they would not allow this.............but it is up to your cabin steward if he/she would allow it.

Look at the Travel Itinerary from the Calendar and Planning Tab. At the top you should have something like:-
Your itinerary includes 2 formal nights and 10 smart casual nights. Port order and/or content may vary, please check specific sailing date for details. Port arrival and departure times are approximate and subject to change without notice.
That is what appears in mine.

Yes, there is a formal night. However, the Captain can choose not to have one.
I've been on cruises when the Captain chose to not have a formal night and I've been on others when the Captain added a formal night. It's up to the Captain.

In the Princess answer book, there is a mark next to 5-6 day cruise with a notation that states there may not be a formal night on shorter cruises.
Any others been on the 5 day Cabo cruise more recently?

Just trying to confirm if there is or is not a formal night on our 5 day Ruby cruise to Cabo.The info I found on Princess shows 1 formal night for 5-6 night cruises, but has an ' * '
right next to it that then says 'there may not be a formal night on shorter cruises' :confused:
