Would you be unhappy if your bribe was ineffective as other passengers bribed more than you could afford relegating your service?

I have numerous people say they will not try Cunard because of the class system, which we all know is not very noticeable.
Other lines (Celebrity, RCI, NCL, MSC) have separate areas and dining for suite / haven passengers.
Oddly, there seems to be less resistance to this but in reality it is very similar.
Looking to the Celebrity Edge class they seem to be dedicating more facilities to suite passengers, certainly the promos focus upon it. If this is reflected in the ships, many people will baulk at 50% of the ship reserved for 10% of the guests.

If I have no choice to use (or not use) their servicesTo a Brit this whole thread shows the insanity of the US tipping culture. It has got out of control !! Any job where a person just does what they are paid/ contracted to do, and does no go above and beyond does not need tipping. The cost is not explicitly additional the agreed fare,
Then I only tip if service is beyond what I think has already been paid for.
In this case, already part of the fare, so I have never tipped them.
They put my bags in their trolley. Hard to see what they could do beyond this most basic part of their job.

If I could put the pricey water taxi price into context, less than 20€ per person for the most amazing approach to Venice as you head across the lagoon and the city comes into view, right to your hotel doorstep.

With 6 people pick a hotel with a water taxi dock. The cost between 6 is good value from airport and then to port.

That sound you hear is the fall of civilization.I am afraid not you only get that luxury when having afternoon tea if you are in Princess/Queens Grill.Shocking that they even include this charade in the advertising without clotted cream.

I forgot, a barnan suggested we head away from the city across the footbridge near Hotel New York, to an area Katedrecht, which had the Fenix food factory.
The weather changed, so we chose dinner on the ship instead.

The cube house is worth a look, the old Harbour has some nice cafes etc.
The Markthal is well worth a couple of hours for snacks, drinks and to enjoy the views.

We bought a bottle of wine from a small supermarket near Rialto market and had taken a couple of glasses with us.

Is a heavier pour theft from the cruise line?
Seems unsavoury to encourage such actions

I'm with you on unpacking. Clothes are easy to do. I would hate to spend the time I saved wondering where everything has been unpacked.
In practical terms, It may have been Cunard or another line, but you made an appointment to be unpacked. Sounds more inconvenient than DIY.

I am really trying to judge what level of service is included, and if I were to receive help beyond this a tip has been earned.
So far, meals served in suite, arranging drinks etc for guests, solving unexpected mishaps are on my list to warrant a tip.
Of course, If you have any others.......

In a QG the amenities list Butler service, for which the cost is considerably higher than PG.
The daily service charge is the same for PG (no butler) and QG, so is the butler service wholly included in the QG fare?

Talinn is an easy walk of around 15 minutes.
Warnemunde is so close that a shuttle is not needed, it would not fit, unless you are actually docking at Rostock

The large department store Les Cortes Ingles on Placa Catalunya have a good selection.
On a smaller scale, there was a small wine shop along the side of La Bocqueria market just off Las Ramblas.

Yes, we have had a PH under the terrace cafe on Riviera. Honestly it was noisy at times.

I would not worry. We have enjoyed a few mini voyages on Cunard.
They are more lively than longer cruises, but we have not been disturbed by anything approaching rowdy.
Stags n Hens, are much less likely in November too.
We are on QE for 4 nts in August.

It was 10 years ago, and I think you are right.I would be very surprised if you were able to exchange Danish krone into Finnish krone since the currency in Finland has been the euro since 2002. Previously to the changeover its currency was the Finnish mark. Perhaps you exchanged Danish krone into Swedish krone? We had Krone from Denmark, possibly Sweden too, which I changed in Helsinki....
But probably as you say into Euro for use in Finland and Estonia.

Not exactly the same. Some dishes will appear in both, but not necessarily on the same day.
