We fly from Charlotte Nc to Rome our ship departs 20 June. Got our notification Sat 14 May. We went for two days before ship departure. I hear they have staffing problems at NCL. Guess one department that does bookings. Love what we got. 

Booked Sky for Dec 28th we were going to book another ship for the day we return on CCL. Well I looked at cabins on Sky found our cabin open  on Jan 8th sailing so called my planner and she took care of our booking.

You do not have the space on Encore due to eliminating Spice H20. If you have been on Joy Or Bliss you would understand. Laser tag and Galaxy Take up that space.

Having sailed the ESCAPE I hardly agree. Overly crowded and no observation lounges.  The ship left me cold and unimpressed.  I actually preferred GETAWAY over ESCAPE.  BLISS is a step up in so many ways, even the decor.  

 

The track means nothing to me. To each their own.  

I sailed Escape and loved it. Then sailed Bliss loved it more. Will be on Encore in Feb will see how it goes.

Wish I had seen the live reports...are they noted on any of the posts? Love being on this cruise via The Doug Out. Our friends are boarding in Miami to do the Panama Canal on 5/10/17. Hubby and I will board the Bliss next year...but it's all good!!

I am on 10 May cruise. My guess and only a guess is crowd control. I understand that carts can be controlled from pits so anyone trying an AJ vs Andretti can have cars slowed. Not going to be like tracks at home.

71 Days. been a long wait.

We do the same but we usually start the morning with making our own coffee in the pot that is in the cabin/ They come in all cabins, balcony or above and if you do not have a balcony cabin you can still request a coffee It only makes about 3 cups but is a starter.

From what I heard it is the massive observation deck on front of ship. Inclosed. It will be warmer during Alaskan cruise season. How 4,000 plus can enjoy it is another thing. LOL.

We just booked Sep 8-15 for Alaska and are soooo excited!!! Love Los Lobos restaurant and so excited it will be on this ship. All looking forward to the Q restaurant.

 

And we are so excited to finally see Alaska!!!

Hope you enjoy Alaska, Not sure if you are flexable on travel date but a lot less going on in Sep. We did it and from all who was on our cruise that had been before said the same thing. But enjoyable just the same. Will keep room clean for you. 10 May 1918 can't wait.

We were on the Carnival Paradise when it was a non-smoking ship and LOVED it!

How did that work out for Carnival.Always the cheaper of all its Ships. Had to fill with all non smokers was tuff. PS no I do not smoke.
