On the Sapphire, which dining room has the lunch on embarkation day? Where are the best indoor places to view the glaciers if it's raining or really cold out? Thanks!!

I tried to get earlier seatings with no luck. I'd like to go to the 7:30 show, but don't want to eat 8:30 afterwards.

I've read on this board that meals can take 2 hours to finish. Is it possible to order all your courses at once to try to speed up the process?

We haven't received our medallions yet, so I can't look at one. I'm confused about showing the name and ship. Where does it show this? If it's on the reverse side, couldn't you just put the medallion in the holder facing the reverse way?

Going back to your great idea of hanging magnetic hooks from the ceiling to dry clothes. What a great idea! I just went on Amazon to look for the hooks, but was overwhelmed by the choices. I read a lot of reviews that said the weight claims in the description were way off. Do you happen to remember which hooks you purchased. (I know it's not likely, but I thought it was worth a try.) Are the times for the shows the same on all the ships and itineraries? I'm trying to decide when to book our dining times so that we can relax and enjoy our meal and still get to see the shows.

We're booked on the Sapphire in June going from Vancouver to Whittier. We're trying to figure out what time to make our dinner reservations so that we can enjoy an unhurried meal and get to see the shows too. Can someone tell me what time the shows will be? Thanks!

Just wondering about the different dining rooms on the Sapphire. Is there a reason to pick one over the other? I assume the menus are the same. Also, on the Alaskan cruises, what time are the shows? This will help us decide what time we want to dine. Thanks!
