I think that the new parking garage will be where that hole is to the left of the new terminal building. According to the hotel manager on the Explorer a few weeks ago the parking garage is due to be completed in March 2015.

There was a special lunch for D+, PC & suites in a place hidden behind the Dragon's Breath Café. Cold lobster and ceviche in melon halves, skewers of shrimp or beef, giant sea scallops wrapped in bacon, grilled chicken breasts, and dishes of fruit. Drinks, of course: champagne, bloody mary, labadoozie.
Was on the Explorer for the previous 9 day cruise and they may have had this for Gold Card passengers, but D+ was not invited. Interesting how things change from cruise to cruise.

Just mention your coupon to the person at the reception desk in Portofino. They will arrange a credit to your onboard account.
Thanks, I just didn't want getting the refund becoming a hassle.
-
When it's only the two of us, I'll pre book the specialty restaurant for the first night and pay in advance for only 1 person.
C&A did suggest doing that. Hopefully I can cancel my second reservation.

Since when did Portofinos charge increase to $25.00?
That is what I was charged Per Person. Don't know when the price increase went into effect.
-
I pre-booked dinner in Portofinos for the first night of our upcoming cruise for DW and I. We will be Diamond + and I understand there is a BOGO Free coupon (loaded on account). I am assuming that since we paid full price with the pre-booking that $25.00 would be credited to our onboard account when we use the coupon. Sounds easy but I don't want to run into problems with this on the ship. Did call C&A but they could not give me a definitive answer.
Does anyone have an answer.
Thanks

It looks as if the new terminal is being built where the old handicapped parking lot was. Does anybody know where it was moved to? I will be sailing in September with my 81 year old mom and the old lot worked out perfectly for her.
The handicapped parking is almost as close to the main terminal as it was before. It is now located at the entrance of the new (temp.) parking area. If you look at the picture from megr and follow the white drop off tent straight down, the handicapped parking is between the next set of buildings. That is also where the parking is paid for.
Hope that makes sense.

I will be on the Summit in July and have booked an Aqua class cabin. My question is how does the staff know we are in a Aqua class cabin in order to eat at Blu. What do I show or need when I arrive at Blu.
Thanks,
Steve
They enter your cabin number into the computer when you arrive at Blu. Aqua Class is also noted on your Sign and Sail card.

Dynamic Dining sounds just like a COPY of NCL's 'Freestyle' to me. That represents a big departure for 'Royal Caribbean'.
I assume like NCL, formality will be discarded as well?
Nope! Every night is formal night if you want to dine in the Grande Restaurant.

Summary
This was an amazing event. At first, I was suspect about not having a main dining room, and wondered if these restaurants were going to be specialty $$$ restaurants but after seeing the different venues, seeing the menus and tasting the food – Dynamic Dining is going to be a huge success. Throw in a 24 x 7 Windjammer, lobster everyday and the fact that Café 270 will have Roast Beef sandwiches…. Quantum is going to be great.
Upon leaving we received a gift bag with a bottle of Quantum Wine, and all of the menus from the new restaurants.
Bottom Line - Quantum sinks Breakaway like Oasis sank Epic.
This is Ken Jarvis and I approve this review.
What happened to your box of candy?

Buttered Popcorn Sazerac?? How was that?
That drink was so good I had more than one. It was also served with the same flavored popcorn. The drink was better.

When you oredered from room service did they tell you that it would be chicken fingers instead? Is it still listed as Honey Stung Chicken? I'm asking because if I wanted chicken fingers do I order the Honey Stung or is chicken fingers listed on the menu?
In December, the Honey Stung Chicken was still on the room service menu. I ordered it and received the chicken fingers. I was not informed of the change when I placed the order which was phoned in.

They better not touch the sour dough rolls!! Lol
Or the Savory Bites either!

Honey Stung Chicken was replaced with the chicken fingers on our Explorer cruise in December. Also ordered it from the room service menu and received the chicken fingers also. I think that if Honey Stung Chicken were only served on the last day of a cruise it wouldn't be so popular.

Had the problem when on the Dream. We had calm seas and no rain on the entire cruise. Its when the cleaning system turns on, water flows into some of the Cove Balconies. I was out there when it turned on late one night and got soaked. I complained and once they figured out what was happening (first full cruise out of NYC, ship was still new), the timing was reset for it to turn on much later.

Frist time in Aqua class on our next Summit Bermuda Cruise. Having Select Dining on previous cruises usually made reservations months ahead for prime times. Having those reservations we never had to wait for seating. With Blu are reservations necessary or even available? Is there ever a wait. Thanks.

According to the website (which is never in error ), milestone recognition starts at 140 points:
http://www.royalcaribbean.com/cas/benefitsLoggedout.do
See footnote 4.
I guess the LA on the EX hasn't read the Web Site or the Web Site hasn't been updated yet with the new criteria. However you look at it, he wasn't going to give one out until the member had at least 210 points.
-
Mentioned the block to friends on our 12/02 Ex sailing. They had hit 140 points on their last cruise and never received a block. They inquired about it and were told by the LA that the first block is now given when the 210 point mark is reached.
-
Its been replaced with chicken tenders.
-
Wasn't served in the Windjammer on the Ex on 12/02. Had been replaced with chicken tenders. Still on the room service menu, but when ordered for lunch received the chicken tenders.
-
Noticed on our 12/02/2013 Ex cruise that the excavating work has started for the parking deck. A lot more to go in order to be ready in 10 months.
-
Yes, the double points count for crystal blocks. See the LA once onboard your July cruise and mention your upcoming milestone. Sometimes they don't compute the points correctly and they may not put you on the list for a block that cruise.
That must of happened on our last cruise in December. Got 10 points for the cruise, 10 points for staying in a suite, and another 10 points for sailing in December.

Thanks, I will call C&A. It would of been nice to receive it on the ship.
