Is the lotion by Bvgarli?

Does anyone know what the approximate cost of a cab from, say, Pier 39 to Golden Gate Park is? I have researched public transportation, and it looks like is would be close to 1 hr. trip that way...

We are on the 20th sailing. Figured can always add a few layers to enjoy that great balcony! Still need to sign up for roll call.
There is a thread to our cruise already-

Thank you so much for your review!! We will be on this cruise in 2 weeks. We LOVE San Francisco, and CANNOT wait until we see the Bay Bridge and it's new "light show"!!! http://thebaylights.org/

We are also booked in Summit 6143 in Sept. 2015. Hope someone replies with recent information or photos.
Are you on the Sept. 6th or 20th? We have 6144 on the 20th!! I, too, am curious for any info. One of the reasons we booked this cabin is for the larger veranda, altho it will probably be cold...

We have also done the Riedel class. It is amazing how different the same wine can taste out of different glasses!!

Don't get there before 1 for embarkation. Disembarkation was a snap!
We will be on her for the April 26th sailing...were you not let on the ship BEFORE 1 pm???

We were in RS 6137 (or was it 6135 - can't remember which was RS and which was the connecting CC). It was WONDERFUL! There is a private bedroom with a door so someone could be taking a nap while the other is in the "living room" area. There are 2 sliding doors to the balcony - one is off the "living room" area and the other is off the bedroom. The part of the balcony off the bedroom has the hot tub and is covered by a canvas awning for privacy if you get in the hot tub. There is a dining table and seating for 4 on the balcony off the "living room". There are also 2 lounge chairs - like the ones you might see up on the pool deck. Richard was our butler last year and was just wonderful. You may have someone different since you are on the other side of the ship.
Agree with the above description. We had a RS (can't remember which cabin #) for our 20th anniversary 10 yrs. ago. It was wonderful!! HUGE closet area (actually a walk in closet!), and large bathroom with a jetted tub and separate shower. VERY large veranda- some sun (open to those above you), and some shade (where the hot tub is). You will love it!! Have fun!

Haven't done it but saw a similar itin at a bike rental near Fisherman's Wharf.
SadieN, it looks like we are both from Ontario!!!!

We had a corner aft on the Equinox in 2013, and never had a problem with soot. Our cabin was on Deck 12, right under the aft bar, so it had a full cover. Also, any noise that we might have heard was not enough to bother us. Loved the view and would book again in a heartbeat. Plus, it was no more expensive than any other Sky Suite (S1 category).

Thinking of renting bicycles and riding across the Golden Gate, then taking a ferry from Sausalito, back to Fisherman's Wharf. Has anyone done this before?

life is short go for it! “life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "wow! What a ride!” take the ride!!!!!
love this!!!

Did Bistro on 5 on the Equinox last year- loved the crepes, small salad and glass of champagne!! Headed on the Century in April- think our only options are the buffet (not a fan!) or the Mast Grille, right??
-
I will be picking up someone coming off the Sapphire Princess. Where can I park and wait (preferably not having to pay) until they call and say they are off the ship?? Is there such thing as a "cell phone lot" like the airports have?

LOVED, LOVED LOVED our S1 corner aft cabin on Equinox last April!!! The veranda was awesome!!

I know it's not a big deal, but sometimes it's the little things that really annoy me.
Celebrity goes through this big production of adding Elite Plus to the Captain's Club membership. We are Elite Plus - My Celebrity shows me as Elite + so I know Celebrity knows my Captain's Club number is Elite Plus.
When I looked at our Cruise documents online for our April sailing, we're listed as Elite.
Not a big deal, I know, but why would Celebrity not get this right on your cruise documents?
They are really, really bad with the details.
I had something similar happen to me. My husband and I sailed last year as Elite, and on "My Celebrity" as we get ready for our next cruise, I am listed as Select!!! I called the Captain's Club, and as it turns out, for some reason, I had 2 Captain's Club numbers! It took them about a week, but it is all straightened out now. I would definitely call and verify before your cruise. It's not worth the hassle upon arriving at the pier and having these kind of issues!!

What about a pedicab to the zoo?

I hope my review is helpful to you. It is at www.thepreismans.com. We thoroughly enjoyed the Summit on our New England/Canada cruise in October.
Because of your wonderful and extensive review, we have decided to do a New York/New England/Canada vacation (3-4 days in NY, then the cruise) for our 30th anniversary in 2015!!

OK, I figured it out....once I clicked on My Celebrity, and clicked on Sailing History, I could only see my points, not the actual cruises. Once I went into the Edit portion of my account, and THEN sailing history, I could see the specific sailings.
-
I haven't read all of the threads on the new Captains Club, so forgive me if this subject has been discussed, or maybe direct me to the right forum....
I see on my "My Celebrity" page, the level I am in, along with the credits I have accrued. Is there a way to get to the list of my prior cruises, just to make sure Celebrity got my history right??

We have done the Southern Caribbean on Royal Caribbean, but it was back in 1993, and on one of the smaller ships, Monarch of the Seas. It was our first Caribbean cruise, and we thought it was wonderful. We went on many RCCL ships since then, with many wonderful memories.
Having said that, we are now leaning towards Celebrity. The RCCL ships are getting WAY too big for us, with too many things to see and do. We are in our late 50's/early 60's, and a cruise to us means RELAXING!! We are not into the zip lining, wall climbing, etc., but sitting on our veranda, wine tasting, and exploring the ship leisurely. Celebrity seems to take care of us better- don't know about the newer RCCL ships, but one of the things I LOVED about Celebrity vs. RCCL were the cushions on the loungers at the pool! I know, but it's the little things!!
Don't know much about Aqua, since we have always booked the Sky Suites, because to us, the size of the veranda is most important. We have never been disappointed with Celebrity. And even though we do love kids, as we get older, we would prefer to have a more adult vacation, and Celebrity seems to fit the bill, at least for us.

We were able to take advantage of it last April when we cruised on the Equinox. You will get a questionnaire a few days into your cruise, and if there is enough people that are interested (I think we needed only 25!!), and you meet all the requirements (airline, airport, time of flight), then you are good to go! It was wonderful, and I highly recommend it!!

Is there a difference in the size of verandas? We have 1209 on a Pacific Coastal cruise in April, and CANNOT wait until we see the veranda...we are early risers, so the joggers won't bother us!
-
Just received our copy of the Captain's Club News letter. On the back, the 2015 "cruises at a glance" chart, only shows cruises through April 2015, with no Pacific Coastal cruises scheduled. It actually shows the Century doing Asia cruises Jan-April of 2015.
