  1. We will be in St Martin on a Sunday in Jan and have received conflicting info. I asked a tour operator who replied that that everything in Marigot will be open on a Sunday if cruise ships are in port. I have also read that everything is closed on Sundays in Marigot. I am also curious about the Dutch side. Will stores be open in Phillipsburg?
  2. When I transfer my reservation to a travel agent, will I still be able to book shore excursions, specialty restaurants etc. directly with Princess and not have to go through my agent?

  4. Thank you everyone who have been so helpful in answering my questions as this is my first Princess cruise. If my cruise docks at Fort Lauderdale at 6AM, would an 11AM flight be realistic if I have priority disembarkation?
  5. Is there an advantage to either cabin r428 or a428 reserve mini suite on Princess Enchantment? It looks as though the only difference would be the deck?

  7. Thank you everyone. Up until now we only sailed on Celebrity where we were able to use OBC for all purchases made as soon as we paid the deposit. I guess I will have to remember all cruise lines have their own set of rules. mtnesterz, how did you enjoy your cruise on Enchanted?
  8. What is weird (and annoying) is my 2 specialty restaurant credits is on the app but then still wants to charge you. The only problem I can see with waiting is not getting the restaurant, date and time I want which kind of negates the benefit. Good luck!
  9. We made a reservation a few weeks ago on the Enchanted Princess in a reserve mini suite with a premier package. On the app it shows that we receive 2 specialty meals but then asks for our credit card number and so we are confused. We do not want OBC as can’t imagine using it with all that is already included. This will be our first Princess cruise and will probably have more questions and thank everyone in advance.

  11. I am considering a cruise on the Beyond and am confused how the dining works. They only have 8:30 dining available. The rep said I can eat anytime in any restaurant and getting a table for 2 would not be a problem. This seems inaccurate to me, as if this is the case, what advantage is “anytime dining”? What are my chances of getting anytime dining if I am on a waitlist?

  15. It showed 2 consecutive dates on my cruise also. It turned out I was able to check in on the earlier date on the Celebrity website and the later date on the app. I would have thought it would have been the reverse.

  18. On the app., check-in shows 3/8, but on the Celebrity website, check-in shows 3/9. Cruise is leaving from Italy. Has anyone else encountered this and can clarify this for me?
  19. My husband and I will be doing online check-in on the app and are wondering if we choose not to download our photos at this time, can we still choose a check-in time but return at a later date to upload photos or do we have to complete all fields before we are allowed to choose time?
  20. No availability for a private tour, except in the evening. Mangrove Snapper, since I take only early morning shore excursions, I didn’t realize later ones that require a tender, meet off the ship. Makes sense, you have solved my dilemma and I will go on the excursion as originally planned, only later. Thanks all.

When recently accessing my reservation which I periodically do to verify the shore excursions etc. that I have scheduled, I discovered there was a time change on one excursion from 8:30AM to 1PM. What made this change more frustrating than it would have been under normal circumstances, is this is a tender port. We planned to go on the excursion and on return to the port, explore and have lunch in the “old town” of Kotor which I understand is a “must do”. With this time change, I have to now hope we can get on an early tender (not sure if this is still a benefit for elite level members), walk around town, take the tender back to the ship, just to have to tender back to our excursion (Kotor by Tuk Tuk). Just going on the excursion will not leave us enough time to explore Kotor. I called the Captains Club desk and was informed that the tour operator changed the schedule and there is no longer an 8:30 time offered. At first he said the 1:00 tour is sold out and a minute later said that there was an opening for only 1 passenger. At first I tended to believe him, but became very skeptical when I went into the website again and it did not indicate that it was sold out or had limited openings which it did on another of my excursions. Not sure how I will proceed.
