We will be sailing on the Enchanted and I just noticed that the Premier package includes fountain sodas, and cans of soda are only available at a 25% discount. Is this really true in practice?

I was able to book 1 specialty restaurant without being charged. When I tried to make a reservation for the second complimentary restaurant, my credit card was charged. I cancelled and received a credit on my credit card account 2-3 days later. I called Princess soon after regarding a different issue and mentioned to the customer service rep. of my problem and he said he would expedite it to a higher department and it should take about 5 business days to rectify. About a week later, I tried again and boy was I surprised when it took my reservation and didn’t charge me. Guess I got lucky.

Thanks to this message board, I just discovered EZCheck. It looks like a great option but am wondering if in the unlikely event our luggage is not at our final destination, do we deal directly with the airline? Are luggage parameters the same as if we did regular online check in?

Thanks everyone, paid a small increase in fare and changed our flight to 12:15. As I said, we really are not able to self-disembark and having a little extra time and thus avoid unnecessary stress is worth it.

I am getting a little nervous, if we are in the 8:00 group, will we still be able to make an 11:00 flight? I honestly thought we would be able to get off a little earlier.

Approximately what time is the first group called (after the group carrying their own luggage)? We are older and much to my husband’s chagrin, I don’t travel light enough to maneuver our luggage on the elevators with other passengers also trying to disembark early.

Thanks for your responses. The reason we are planning to book a service is that there will be 7 ships disembarking that day and we have too much luggage for a taxi and will need a van.

We are debarking the Enchanted Princess which docks at Port Everglades at 6AM on a Saturday. We have an 11AM flight from Fort Lauderdale Airport and would like some input on what time we should request a private transfer from the port to ensure we arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before our flight. Shore excursion prices have increased in the last week. Do you think there is the possibility of a sale on these excursions at the same time as the sale on cruises?

I have the Premier package and it shows two complimentary specialty dinners on the app. On Thursday, I made my first complimentary reservation at a specialty restaurant and was not charged. On Friday, I made my second reservation for a different specialty restaurant (supposedly also included in the Premier package) and Princess charged it to my credit card. I immediately realized that I made the 2nd reservation on an incorrect date and cancelled the reservation. Today, I received a credit on my credit card. I don’t understand why using the same app, the 1st restaurant reservation was complimentary while the second was charged, but I am pleased with the 3 day turn around time in receiving the credit. Very confusing process.

What time were the shows? Did you eat in any specialty restaurants? I appreciate your offer to answer questions. This is our first Princess cruise (have only been on Celebrity) and feel as though I am starting from “square one”, which I guess I am. Looking forward to trying a new cruise line.

Can anyone who has recently been on an Enchanted Princess Caribbean cruise, tell me what the show times were? Any preferences between Crown Grill or the Catch by Rudi? We have already decided on 1 night at Sabatini’s.

We will be in St Martin on a Sunday in Jan and have received conflicting info. I asked a tour operator who replied that that everything in Marigot will be open on a Sunday if cruise ships are in port. I have also read that everything is closed on Sundays in Marigot. I am also curious about the Dutch side. Will stores be open in Phillipsburg?

When I transfer my reservation to a travel agent, will I still be able to book shore excursions, specialty restaurants etc. directly with Princess and not have to go through my agent?

Is there an advantage to either cabin r428 or a428 reserve mini suite on Princess Enchantment? It looks as though the only difference would be the deck?

Thank you everyone. Up until now we only sailed on Celebrity where we were able to use OBC for all purchases made as soon as we paid the deposit. I guess I will have to remember all cruise lines have their own set of rules. mtnesterz, how did you enjoy your cruise on Enchanted?

What is weird (and annoying) is my 2 specialty restaurant credits is on the app but then still wants to charge you. The only problem I can see with waiting is not getting the restaurant, date and time I want which kind of negates the benefit. Good luck!

We made a reservation a few weeks ago on the Enchanted Princess in a reserve mini suite with a premier package. On the app it shows that we receive 2 specialty meals but then asks for our credit card number and so we are confused. We do not want OBC as can’t imagine using it with all that is already included. This will be our first Princess cruise and will probably have more questions and thank everyone in advance.
