Mid way through our cruise on the Regal. In Grand Cayman today. Weather has been beautiful.
Embarkation was a breeze (we had preferred boarding). Last passengers had cleared the ship late so we only in the terminal and checked in at 11:30. Boarding began promptly at noon and we were in our cabinet by 12:05. We did MDR for lunch.
First stop was Princess Cays. We actually diverted at about 2 am and docked at Nassau to disembark two sick passengers. DH and I were sound asleep and never realized we docked until the Captain notified us in the morning letting us know we would be a little late to our anchorage at Princess Cays, but the time at the island would be extended to make up for his. DH and I didn't get off in Princess Cays, we had decided this way before the delay. It was a fabulous day on the ship for us on the pool deck.
Sea day was amazing.
In Montego Bay we did a resort for a day pass at the Hilton Hall. All inclusive food and beverage and it was a beautiful and relaxing day, despite the weather forecast for rain.
In Grand Cayman today. Doing a ship tour and hey weren't shore we would be able to tender due to the swells. Luckily we were able to get off. Snorkeling and diving excursions were canceled however. More on GC to follow later.
Food has been amazing (we haven't visited the MDR as of yet). We have done Alfredo's, Crown Grill, the ultimate balcony dinner last night which is my hands down favorite on each cruise we do. We have done lunch and a breakfast in the MDR. Lunch on embarkation day and there was fettuccini Alfredo with a parmesan backer for that meal anyways.
Will be back later.

Thanks for the review. We are boarding Sunday and hitting the same ports. Also doing the Grand Cayman tour you mentioned.

We're on this sailing too. We decided to do Resort for a Day booking with the Hilton Rose Hall resort about 20 mins from the pier. All inclusive beverages and food. Use of pool facilities (think they have slides and a small lazy river). $117 pp.

The tour operator mentioned Cozumel was on CT. That's why I was confused.

The poster is correct, Quintana Roo uses Eastern Standard time year around and no longer switches to Daylight Savings time. All that changes this Sunday (March 12) when the most of the US goes on Daylight Savings time. That means local time in Cozumel will be one hour earlier that EDT. Princess usually observes local time when in port.
One hour earlier than DST or two hours perhaps? Is Cozumel normally one hour behind of EST? So confused. Lol.

We did them about six years ago after four years of marriage due to me surviving a life threatening illness and celebrating my DH loyalty. It was amazing. O believe there were several courses Les, but the vows were said separately for each couple. It was amazing. Standard.
We are again renewing our vows next week on the Regal (celebrating 10 years of marriage) also the standard package. Surprised DH for Christmas with this one. We pre purchased the photo package so we should get all of the pics taken during the ceremony.

Since everyone is adding their two cents, I'll ante up as well. There is a reason every cruise line I've been on (DCL/RCCL/Princess) does a hard sell with the AIBP. It makes them a ton of money. You are really buying convenience and perceived sense of value.
They loose money on us. Lol.

What time does the Regal use in Cozumel? Ships time or do they adjust to home port time (they don't observe daylights savings time) so need to know as we are meeting an independent tour and want to plan ahead.

Be aware of shuttles. They charge per person. Not per cab. Can be very expensive if you have a few people with you.

Can you go in once/day pass to try it out? Afraid it won't be my thing.

Contact Verizon and see if you phone qualifies for their new WiFi calling. If so, you can make calls over WiFi for no extra charge no matter where you are. Might well be worth looking into. I'm certainly planning to check it out for our 28 day Hawaii and South Pacific cruise in October.
Just get the Vonage app. Free. Just connect to wifi and call through the app for free to a US number anyways if you're from the US.

Ok, Caribbean Princess next week, need to know if pools are fresh or salt water. Or maybe some are fresh and some are salt on the same ship? My hair depends on this answer please.😊
Fresh when we last sailed on her several years ago.

Also in Montego Bay, a few of the ship tours were later. They of course held up the ship for over an hour. Goes to show you that if you're contemplating a late tour, book through the ship.
