  1. For us, it has been worth every penny. We enjoy our wine with dinner, drinks by the pool during the day, and we love to try different wines (especially at Vines), Bellini's, martinis at Crooners, cocktails and whiskeys/bourbons that we would have never tried without the package. We get our bottled water, especially to take ashore on excursions, as well as coffee and specialty coffees. We get our money's worth for sure. We are cruising in March and have pre-paid our package already, and this will make a huge difference on our bill at the end of the cruise. We have certainly surpassed the price of two packages for us before it was available on our last Princess Sailing, with 2 soda packages, and our bar bill.

  2. I would tell a crew member. And I will next time......

On our last Royal cruise, a passenger had their baby in the pool with a swim diaper, and it failed, and no one said anything prior. There was poop floating from the infant and the pool had to be closed to be cleaned. Aggravating.

As for beer and cocktails, I can't see then enforcing this - I always sit on the flat portion with drink in hand. These certainly don't biologically contaminate the pool if spilled.

  3. We've always used our Tervis tumblers (large ones) and rarely will they not fill directly. If they wouldn't I just ask for a large cup with Diet Coke and dump it in myself. Figure - they give out reusable tumblers for the soda package when you buy it and I've always seen they refill them, so one time we asked, and they did it without issue.

  4. The new seat itch line is pretty drinkable actually especially on a hot day. Not uber craft, but way better than the offerings in the past. Commissioned by local craft breweries who make the beer for Princess. On an uber hot sea day on the pool deck Dos XX is passable for me.
