One thing that I need to do when I get home is look at more cruises going to St Maarten... Maybe even a land trip, if I could afford it. The island has wayyy too much stuff to do in such a short stay. I've only yet scratched the surface of what they have to offer, and I'm jonesing for more... The beautiful beaches, great food, and the incredibly nice people there make me think that it may be my new happy place...
I have been to St Maarten a few times and enjoyed it every time - one of the best islands in the Caribbean.

Thanks for taking us on your tour of San Juan. I haven't been there for a few years, but some of your photos looked familiar and brought back memories.

Following along. Enjoy your cruise. I'm guessing that your 8 day cruise is to the Southern Caribbean. I'm really looking forward to that one because I will be sailing that cruise but not until May.

Really enjoyed your Celebration review. I took a lot of notes for my cruise in May!! Safe travels home.

I saw your posts on Saint Greg's postings and figured that you were on the next sailing and was hoping you would begin posting. I just found your posts tonight and I have caught up. I will definitely be following along. Have a great cruise!

I saw that. It’s mostly pictures of bars. There are a couple menus there but not for the the two bars I asked for.I downloaded copies of 12 bars by clicking on the bar's name before the pictures.

Check Paradise Beach in Cozumel. Not sure I’ve seen jet ski rentals in Costa Maya or at Mahogany Bay. We love Maya Chan in Costa Maya, if you want all-inclusive. Otherwise, try Krazy Lobster. The free beach at the port in Mahogany Bay is excellent.
I agree with Maya Chan Beach for an excursion. It is my favorite excursion ever.

There's got to be more than ONE Cruise Critic member on board!... Let's see those pictures!...
Sid, when are you sailing on the Celebration? I have followed your cruises and Atlanta postings and even took your advice for our Black Hat's Tour. We aren't sailing on the Celebration until May.

Sorry, I read it wrong.

I never had to show more than my driver's license to rent a car in Freeport.

We did the same cruise in May - even stayed at the Hotel Riu. I'm definitely following. It brings back memories!

I always put my name, cabin number and write "platinum" on the bag. I also line the bag with a small plastic garbage bag, roll my clothes to be washed, put them in the bag and then seal the bag with tape. Works every time!

Loved reading your review. We were on the Mardi Gras in October and your review brought back many memories. Thanks for sharing!

I love Vista Suites! Go for it!

I have only stayed in a Vista Suit on Deck 4. I never felt a vibration. I am booked on a Vista Suite on Deck 4 on our upcoming Alaska cruise and on Deck 8 for our Hawaiian cruise. Vista Suites are the best. Only Deck 5 Vista Suites do not have the two separate rooms.

We are booked on the Miracle to Hawaii and, apparently, Hawaii is requiring testing on board prior to docking, in addition to the pre cruise testing. I don't know the details, but I hope we don't have to pay for the test.
The Miracle left yesterday for Hawaii. They had to have proof of a negative vaccination two days before sailing (as every one does). They also were given a test at embarkation and will be re-tested two days before their first port in Hawaii. I do not think there was a charge.

I'm following along. Hopefully, I will be on the Miracle in January, and you are providing a preview!

I had pretty much eaten and drank my fill, and had to walk down the LONG pier to the ship in the rain.
If you thinks that pier was long, wait until you see Costa Maya!

When we were in Cozumel last month, I took your advise and booked Black Hat Tours. It was a great day touring parts of Cozumel with Cresencio that we had never seen before. Enjoy your day!

The beaches are beautiful. Always enjoy shopping. Liquor prices are very good. The food and drinks are great. Always enjoyed being where the large plane lands.
