Seems to me that the lack of TV selections is a way to make sure people don't hole up in their cabin when they can leave and encounter the ship and ports.

I had thought in the past that when a cabin gets sick, they offer free movies for a day....

like I said, I was sick for a day if I would’ve reported it, I would’ve been quarantined for a couple days in my cabin. If not more, I wasn’t about to report a little stomach bug and get quarantined for the rest of the cruise. Don’t think they wouldn’t.

  2. I get it you’re on a cruise you don’t need to be watching TV.
but my last cruise, me and my wife got the Noro virus

We were in bed for 24 hours actually longer than that we missed a day

we just laid in bed watching their TV, which basically they have two channels. If you don’t like sports or news, if you go, call Fox MSN, BC news I don’t know who picks  what you’re going to watch, but they need to rethink. It seems like every episode was part of a series where you had to be paying attention to the last episode like 24, now 24 is a good show, but I don’t know what the hell was going on put some standalone shows on where you don’t need to know what’s going on.   And  don’t even say they have pay-per-view movies at 12 bucks apiece there choices suck not that I would pay $12 to watch a movie step up the game royal

Silly question, for the OP or anyone who has sailed Harmony recently since we started daylight savings time. Do you recall the local port times in Roatan? Itinerary lists 8-5 but since Roatan is behind ship’s time, I suspect that the local time in port is 7-4. I’ve sailed the western Caribbean route out of Galveston several times and I’ve seen the time differences in port handled different ways.

They go by ships time. It’s covered in the cruise Compass for Roatan on this trend

  4. Harmony of the seas, cabin, 9558

is there a site where I could find the layout of the room?

as in is the bed next to the door or the balcony?

it seems everywhere I look it’s the same picture. The bed is by the balcony.

seems to me they are both ways I know on many ships it is every other cabin

bed by the door /bed by the balcony

  5.  any cruise that has 3 or more days consecutive at sea will require infants to be 12 months old on the first day of the cruise.

Any children younger than the infant policy will be denied boarding. This is in royal Caribbean‘s rulebook. Know my question.
let’s say a cruise leaves Miami then has 2 sea days. Would that be counted as 3 sea days?
    thanks

  6. Can someone explain how the 150 minutes of free Wi-Fi works on the iPhone? How do you keep track of it? I know the iPhone has background stuff going on. Does that use up a lot of minutes   Or do I need to keep

wi-Fi off when not using it?

  7. So in September I was on a two week Alaskan cruise on the Niuew Amsterdam halfway through the cruise we were sitting in the Lido Buffet

I went up to the bread station and there was a alligator made out of bread I asked can I have him to my surprise they gave them to me.

for the next six or seven nights I would bring my alligator walk around the bread station petting him and they would call me Mr. alligator man.
I managed to bring the bread figure home and preserve him with lacquer we had a Christmas postcard made. I would love to send it to the ship and get it to the kitchen staff on Lido deck. any thoughts on how I could do that some of the people may still be there thanks

We just received an email yesterday that Bermuda and Virginia have been dropped from our 8 Day Getaway March 23' & I am thrilled not having to deal with the hassle of porting in Bermuda for only 6 hours. We did it October 21' & found it very stressful.

On same cruise and we are thrilled too testing It’s just too stressful just got off a Alaska Cadana cruise and that’s all I worried about was that stupid Covid test what a relief when I finally got my negative test results you spent thousands of dollars on a cruise and you have to be stressed it’s just not worth it
