Can you get smoothies ? If so are they under one of the programs?
-
Setting up I check "cash" but put it all on my CC at the terminal.

Still have the calculator out. On cheers I get 15 drinks every 24 hours, yes? So if I get it at 12:00pm on Thursday, the next day starts at 12:00pm Friday, right? So on a 3day cruise it should only cost $230 for the 2 of us, yes?

Keep in mind the water temperatures in Nassau can be a bit on the chilly side this time of year. ;)
Not chilly....down right cold

My one request in any of their surveys has been for longer cruises, but I have to agree with siena, they would have to be a round trip, the airfare ruins everything.
X 2......the airfare ruins everything

Thanks guys... it looks like a snorkel trip may not be in the plan. Beachinbeauty I bet I will be like your husband and just get my toes wet at the most if it is cold...

for a 35.00 savings have you checked Victor Bodden Tours?
We did this tour and included the beach last year and it was like $65 a person. It was great.

Does anyone know the name of the Company or the booking procedures for the zipline that passes by the Roatan dock. It's the one you can watch from the ship. I'd like to do that one and was wondering.......
That one is owned and booked on Carnival's site.

Posting because I want to know the same thing! We'll be there on the 10th and I have been wondering the same thing. I'm told the water hovers around the same temp year round but would love some first hand experience.
I looked at 1 dive site that says in JUN-AUG skin or shirt is good for diving but in December a 3mm+ wetsuit is recommended that would be a heck of a difference in water temp.
Hope someone that has been there comes back.

If there is a $118 difference (3 day cruise) between a Jr. Suite and a Regular Upper Deck Balcony room which would you take. The only real difference I see on the "Sensation" is a sofa and larger sink in the Jr. Suite but also a smaller balcony or am I missing something?

Took a 3-day Sensation cruise a few weeks ago, and I can assure you, we made very good use of the Cheers program. Have fun!
Anna,
Talk to me about the Sensation Program as we are sailing next week. Here is my question...
Need some math help here. DW does not drink, maybe like 2 wines a day. I can do my share of the 15 a day. So I have to buy for both of us at $334.64 for a short 3 day cruise, right?
I heard that sodas and non-alcoholic frozen drinks are included in the Cheers Program..is this right? SO currently how much is a single soda on the ship? How much is a non-alcoholic frozen drink on the ship...average price?
I am trying to figure out if it is worth it if she drinks 2 wines and 2 sodas and 1 frozen non-alcoholic drink each day and I get my breakeven or better.
Thanks... Oh yea we are only going to Nassau so most likely will not get off the ship from Thursday morning - Sunday Morning, 3 nights.
Thanks

For those that have been to Nassua this last couple of weeks.... how cold is the water? I mean is it worth it to do a beach pass this next weekend or two.

Thanks for replying! We leave next week so I'm trying to finalize our plans. Let's just hope the weather stays nice!
We are there the 12th

777,
You will no t need a taxi. it is on the other side of DCH, you can see it as you dock. It is like a 10 minute walk, go out of the terminal, make a right, go around Senior Frog and up to the corner, make a right and follow the sidewalk around until you get there. Have fun.

If service is a little slow what difference does it make..... you are not getting off the ship and you have no place to go.:D
-
Do you know what time they allow guests to enter? I'm wondering if this would be a nicer option than the free beach, but we are only in port for a short time.
The free beach and the British Colonial Hilton really share the same beach and ocean, they are next door to each other, and the free beach also has a food/drink stand that is cheap and the food good. Why pay $65 pp for the same thing except a chair and the little stand rents them also.

WOW just think if you had an early flight ....
-
I can count over 90 cabins that are open on our ship that sails in 20 days
-
Only problem is, it's against the law. Only an American Flagged ship can do that.
So stick an American Flag on it.

Call me crazy but .... no never mind don't call me that. How about the other way for a change.
Day1- Leave from PC Florida to Savannah
Day2- Arrive Savannah 8am-4pm
Day3- Arrive Charleston 9am-4pm
Day4- Sea Day
Day5- Arrive Baltimore 9am-4pm
Day6- Sea Day
Day7- New York 9am-4pm
Day8- and back to Florida.
This could be a summer time cruise.

On a Fantasy ship like the Sensation why is deck 7 Empress an upgrade over deck 6 Upper? Looking at deck plans, all the noise and activity on deck 8 would make me believe that it would be really noisy all the time. Dinning rooms, kitchens, etc.... yet it is shown as a better place to have your cabin, why?
Smooths ?

The DW likes smoothies with kale and fruits so was wondering, sailing Sensation next week
