Hi all!

Looking for opinions here

I have two different cruises on hold

For myself, my husband and our 25 year old daughter

We have all cruised several times in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

We all are sun lovers.

Choices are:

Alaska round trip Seattle on The Ruby July 1

With Glacier Bay

Mediterranean Rome to Athens on The Royal July 1

With a couple of ports we have never visited before.

I can't remember... are bedroom slippers provided in mini suites (I'll be on the Royal 2/18) and which toiletries are provided? Do I need to pack shampoo? Thank you!

Thank you for all the replies. We will be in mini suite Marina 220, should anyone know specifics regarding that stateroom. But yes, a small fan will be in my luggage.

When I was last on Caribbean Princess our balcony stateroom would not get cool at night. How about Royal... can I get it nice and cool or should I pack a fan?

We have booked R732 aft deluxe balcony cabin on The Royal. Will we be covered in soot, making the balcony practically unusable? Any other words of wisdom re this cabin?

Carol---as someone who loves The Sanctuary and has a traveling companion who also likes the smoking bar I value your honest opinion. Princess is just "home" for us right now. One day I'd love to try Sea Dream Yacht Club in the Caribbean and maybe Windstar ( one of the yachts) in the Med but for now Princess is good/great for us. Thank you again for chiming in!
