When you used the Roku to stream, did you connect your Roku directly to the ship’s WiFi network? If so, what SSID name did you select and what password did you use?

We have never brought our Roku. We bring our laptop and iPad to connect. You could connect it, just the internet was never strong enough for us.  We download shows and movies to our laptops and iPad.

We also have been entertained by the old Love Boat episodes lol

  2. We just boarded yesterday, February 16 for a four day 80’s cruise.  We arrived at the port and parked at 10:40am. We never stopped walking from the time we arrived, except to check in. We were on the ship by 11:04am. Rooms were not ready but we were on the ship which is all that matters

Just received a phone call from Princess offering to sign me up for the new 360 experience - at no additional cost. However it would not include my traveling companion so I declined. No desire to ‘enjoy a special experience’ and desert my friend.

I just got that same call. Just like you, it was only for me. There are six of us traveling in four different cabins.  Who wants to go alone if you are traveling with others. Had I been solo, I would have done it.
we are all packed and ready to go now. Cleaned up the house so that we can come home to a lovely clean house.
I do need to cut my boyfriend’s hair tonight. My first occupation prior to being in IT for the last thirty years.
    see you guys on board.

  4. We wish we were cruising with you. You guys are lucky.

If any of you watch YouTube, you might know La Lido Loca, Tony and Don’s Family Vacations, Don are on board this cruise

They do a great job of filming their cruises.
Enjoy your cruise. We just got off the Majestic Princess yesterday. This is one of my bucket cruises. I just gotta convince my boyfriend to spend $4,000pp to go in January 2023.
    Enjoy,

    Christie

  5. Wow. So sorry to hear this. We cruised in the middle of the Omnicrom surge in January 2022. We were masked along with everyone else (N95), crew served in the buffet etc.  we made it through without getting sick.
We leave on April 23rd and are a bit nervous. I wish they would go back to the crew serving in the buffet and more masking.
We will be N95 masked and hand sanitizer. I just got my second booster. I hope that we stay healthy.
I hope that you get well soon

  6. We sailed in January 2022. I am allergic to feathers and requested non-feathered pillows.  I was told that they are cleaned after each cruise and that we needed to wait until later in the day. He did swap them out for us.
I am not sure if they are still doing this but I hope so.

i always do a Lysol and Clorox wipe of the room as soon as we board. I have been doing this since way before COVID

We spoke to Leo this morning.  He will be on the Majestic for the April 9th and 16th sailings.  Then he will move to the Discovery.  Sorry!

I'll work on getting the passenger count for your cruise.

Thanks so much for checking with Leo. I was really looking forward to attending his sessions.
thanks for working on the count.

Tonight, the Maitre'd told us that the April 9th sailing currently has 1,900 passengers.  The April 16th sailing is up to 3,100 passengers.  Quite the swing.

Wow. That is quite the swing. Are you able to find out about the April 23rd voyage?

Were you able to find out if Leo Rossi will be on the April 23rd voyage.
thanks for any recon you can get.

  9. Would you please see when Leo Rossi’s last voyage will be?  We were on January 15-22, 2022. His is an amazing speaker. We are sailing again on April 23-30, 2022 and was hoping to go to his talks again.

Leo was the tour manager for Fleetwood Mac and many others. His stories are great. I am almost finished with his book.
if you get a chance, go see his talks. Highly recommend it.

We opened a Fidelity account (https://www.fidelity.com/). There are no fees (so far). We deposited enough to purchase 100 shares, plus a little extra to start with. It did take a few days for the account setup and funds deposit. Additionally, it seems that Princess is taking up to 21 days to process shareholder benefits, but some have said that they have been able to call after submitting and get it processed faster or they suggest taking your statement with you on board and take it to the guest relations desk if it had not been applied prior to sailing (questionable if that works all the time).

Thanks so much. I was able to open a Fidelity account last week along with buying 100 shares of CCL. I emailed over the info to Princess and by Friday evening I had my $100 OBC. It only took a two days to get it

  11. My boyfriend and I just got off of the Majestic on Saturday, January 22, 2022. He is a big TV person and was determined to get his laptop to connect. He found a video on YouTube that showed exactly how to make it work. He said to do the search below. We were able to watch a couple of our shows.

Search YouTube for “princess cruises - connect your own HDMI device to the stateroom tv” by Hayley and Andy

To be honest we really enjoyed the old Love Boat episodes.
    Enjoy your cruise.

  12. We just got off of the Majestic yesterday.   Most people were very good at wearing the masks both indoors and out of doors. The voyage only had 974 passengers and about 1,150 crew.
The crew was constantly cleaning and wiping down the public areas including the Princess theatre.
We really enjoyed our cruise. This was my 10th over all and first back since the shut down. This was my boyfriend’s first cruise ever and he loved it

We felt safer on board than we do on land knowing that everyone is vax’d and tested.
there were no lines. The venues had lots of space to be distanced.
I wish that we would cruise again very soon.   I booked two FFCs.
we have taken two at home COVID tests just to make sure. I will test again on Tuesday.
    Enjoy your upcoming cruises.
