I agree Seb and Matt were good but not the rest The team before were much better and James who sang us out of Gibraltar on April 2015 Transatlantic was fantastic. Paul (CD) and Taylor were good (Jan and April 2016) but I also like Gavin who is CD currently with Taylor as ACD What can I say about Tom and Maris that hasn't already been said other than fantabulosis. Noel from Heart and Soul is very talented and they still get a good crowd in Tides even though Tom and Maris have moved into Waters Edge.

we were on in jan too found all the show team very good, didn't see the team before as went on the dream as friends where working on there ie Ted James the senior ents host and Aaron the showteam leader/ dance capt,wewent on 3 times since oct

lewis has been on the ships for a good while started in show team we met him as an ents host in 2010 and find him really good

Had confirmation from friends who work on board the dream and spirit that euros matches will be shown but its dependent on the signal,but imagine will only be shown on one place on the ship not streamed to the cabins

Some friends of ours are booked on Legend of the Seas on the 24th April out of Singapore and have only just been informed that the ship is being sold:eek: and that they 'may' be able to swop to Thomson as the ports of call for that cruise have NOT changed. Our TA has informed us that the cruises for the new ship will be on sale next month but could not elaborate on destinations.

Perhaps this will be the new cruise area.:rolleyes: I would imagine someone out there can check;)

Its been confirmed summer 2017 it will be sailing in the med

spirit cd is Lewis Power Stannard, strum jam are much better than sound room who are on the dream but the dream does have tom and maris

My first cruise was with Spirit in 2005 and haven't sailed her since but my friend and I would like to cruise her this September so am pleased that although she hasn't had the upgrade of sister ship Celebration that she's not too tired, the food is good and hot and the entertainment excels that if the Dream. I've been in Dream twice this year and was disappointed with the singers but a new team is on for my next cruise in 2 weeks time so will report on them when I get back. StrumJam are the band currently on Spirit and I loved them on Dream so looking forward to seeing them again. Love the singer of Soundroom but the lead guitarist is not the best imo.

Can you tell me pls who the cruise director is on Spirit

the dream ents team changed on april 30th we found the team before the best team team we have seen since 2009 matt and seb were brilliant, my mum who has been on the spirit this april thinks the dream team were better

Hi everyone, we went on our first cruise (Island Escape) last year and absolutely LOVED it! We're booked to go on the Spirit at the end of July.

Last year on the cruise, my hubby got talking to a lady who was offered an extra week when she arrived at a massively reduced price. Is this usual?? I'm getting my hopes up now about staying for two weeks! xx

Doubt it, been on spirit a lot and never heard of this its always full very popular ship

The entertainment should be good the show team will have been on 2 weeks on tuesday have 11 shows adapted for the new ship, lots of new ones, the other entertainment will be new game shows and quizzes, the ents hosts went last tuesday too, there is an activities host for the sorts activites and night entertainment too, there are also family hosts planned for the school holidays

Think thomson are charging £10per day if you book direct with them

That's it I thought they were German just wasn't sure of the spelling of schieff so if they send 3 ships to the Caribbean won't they we doing the canaries at all in winter 2017? Hopefully with 3 ships in Caribbean the prices will stay at a reasonable level.

That's very interesting, will they be able to fill three ships in the Caribbean and which ship will be doing the canaries. Have been waiting for a change in canaries as we are not keen to go on majesty again (just our preference in fact hubby refuses I maybe would at the right price) in fact have managed to get on the spirit this year but they are only doing 3 I think before majesty takes over. I believe spirit and majesty are leaving Thomson at the end of 2017 so maybe some new ships will come into play

cider and frozen cocktails are on the dream ai, and the discovery is being run by the same company so imagine that it should be on ai there too

One ship will probably be in the canaries as they will be down to 3 ships then

Been in the suites on deck 8 and the windows look over the lifeboats, heard deck seven you get a slight view of the bottom of the lifeboats

We are looking to book for next May and the Iberian Coast looks great. How is the Celebration compared to The Dream or Majesty? The cabin size on the Dream was good but we needed a upgrade on the Majesty.

the celebration is so much better, cabins alot bigger than majesty

When we was on in march there was 150 staff being trained to transfer to the discovery waiters, bar staff,housekeeping, asst managers and managers, plus some of the staff from the dream were going too

a new team start today on the dream, but the team hat have just finished were one of the best we have seen,they mixed with the passengers a lot, a very friendly bunch of people on or off the ship

No, our last Thomson cruise was in November (on Dream). Great entertainment but the entertainers did not mix with passengers apart from the photo shoot night (after the penultimate show). In fact when we saw any of them around the ship they were very reserved/stand offish which was different to on all our previous Thomson cruises.

Thats odd we found the dream entertainment team very friendly was on oct, jan and feb, my mum was on the last cruise in oct over halloween and found them very friendly, and they always were mixing with the passengers

We want the 12th of sept repo ourta says available june now, but things could change, have booked the 4 nighter for next summer

The spirit was in kusadasi last week, and trips went ahead my mum was onboard and went off the ship

Wow that's cheap. I normally avoid spa treatments on cruises but may have to reconsider on Thomson. Going on discovery in October. I wonder when prices come out and if your be able to book online.
